This felt more like a first impressions video than a review. It is odd more so as such a long time has passed since these were launched! Please post an in depth review of both the scooters. And the TVS iQube.
Absolutely they were never serious about mass producing this beauty. While Ather is going all gun blazing. I have absolutely no hopes from traditional OEMs but surely very happy seeing Ather’s development. A proud owner of Ather450X
If we buy Ather then we need to pay 1500 or 2400 every year separately for navigation, remote location tracking and to track charging status and apart from this service charge is separate
@@graham6721 Wind and solar energy are safer, cleaner and cheaper. All countries are moving to wind and solar energy. India needs more environmentalists to speak up for clean air.
@@KJSvitko it's upto the government to make that switch , with the new budget the government has imposed additional import duty especially on solar panels with the existing import duty tax making solar panels very very expensive
@@graham6721 True but electric vehicles efficiency is 90% as compared to 20-30% in traditional vehicles so no matter what is the source of electricity it is still an eco-friendly option plus wear and tear is negligible in electric vehicles which further reduce the carbon footprint
@@graham6721 Well, Govt is only thinking about filling their own pockets to buy votes. They say petroleum is heavily taxed in order to be more eco-friendly and help the poor while the inflation caused by it is killing the poor. Same goes for solar panels and batteries which are heavily taxed, but later on a little subsidy is given on electric vehicles but that too isn't available in more than half the country. In my opinion they are trying to make everyone dirt poor so that they can buy everyone with subsidy promises as they have been doing with farmers since Independence
In the case of Ather, need not to say , it's not affordable by public. Only for rich fellows. Price is an important factor...not exceed one lakh Waiting for simple Mark 2, Ola etergo, Tvs Creon..
*Unlike Chinese Scooters... our Indian eScooters (Ather & Chetak) are HANDICAPPED* ... they don't have removable battery *WE MUST BE IDIOTS* I wouldn't buy both of them (Ather & Chetak) for the above reason. The whole point of having Li-Ion batteries is that they are light in weight and can be carried (home for charging).
Ather is already present in 8 cities. Even when this video was published it was present in 6 cities. Chetak only 2 cities...and I am not even sure if you can book them and buy them, they were not selling for over a year. But, I think Chetak could be more value for money scooter even if you consider the charging network provided by Ather. Ather should be priced at least 30K below their current price.
Please update.. When i drive Ather 450X in Eco mode only. Then how many kilo meter it goes.. Same... in Ride mode... sport mode... warp mode.. Please do a practical test and make a separate video
@@abgp11 obviously the one which has no road presence at all. Until such time this vehicle is available in all major cities at least, I will continue calling it as an imported prototype. Don't support a company which is incapable producing even a battery pack.
One major difference. Chetak has disappeared. No resuming of production. They have lost the game already. By the time, they come back, we will have much better options to choose from & Ather will be way ahead of them.
The review is biased towards Bajaj. The person who was riding Ather was taller hence his knee were bend upward. At the end of the video the 2 rider will show the difference. Also no discussion about battery quality, charging station... etc.
Dear friend what's the subsidy amount given by government that chetak electric ⚡🔌vehicle scooter class get when you purchase , awaiting your answer / update
paying a subscription plan to access the full power of the vehicle i own is just ridiculous, ather has said that they still sell scooters at a loss even with the subscription plans, id rather buy paying upfront or opting for loan if available in any other ev, if everything from battery capacity cap of the vehicle to the motor output is cloud based what would happen if the company goes defunct ? even the economics doesn't add up I'd be paying less money for an activa and the petrol needed for running after 5 years rather owning an ather via a subscription plan
Fpr those who are saying they want detachable battery are not aware of battery blast problems 😔 I will wait till simple energy lounch their mark 2 scooter and after that will make a choice between these scooters
Ather where is the showroom and what is the gold rate give details about this also be delete for free and open source software applications for further information about your future.

Over a lakh rupees and a monthly subscription?? No thank you Ather!! These reviews are all paid.. talks about monthly subscription as if it's a norm and fools u into believing it's no big deal
*Ather said they were doing good market research... then launch a scooter ABOVE 1Lakh... No... Above 1.5 Lakhs* in Indian market. Wonder *what research they were doing?* ... Or are they expecting KTM, Bullet or Pulsar riders to switch to Ather Scooters?!?! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😀😀😀😀😀😀
what if battery goes down in between forest area or highway you only find fuel station but not battery charging point in case of emergency you need to stay till charged 🙂
