Powering the Avenger 160 2021 is a 160.4cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that continues to put out 15PS. Max torque generated has gone up in BS6 times, now at 13.7Nm. Gearbox duties continue to be handled by a five-speed unit. The simple dual-cradle chassis is sprung by a conventional fork and twin preload-adjustable shocks. A 260mm front disc and a 130mm rear drum brake setup are bolstered with single-channel ABS. There is no doubt that the Avenger’s design is a bit long in the tooth. Its peanut-shaped fuel tank, side panels and curvy wheel arches are all carried over from the Avenger 180. This spartan cruiser does have a certain appeal, but i expected a major design overhaul of the Avenger series in 2021
