@@RealAutoReviews I got a g310r... makes sense to get trk502 as a 2nd bike or perfectly fine to sell 310r and get this one? for daily office commutes aswell
@@jaivig339 Then you may buy it with your eyes closed! In fact, at your height, I would HIGHLY (pun intended, lol) recommend the 502 X! And, yes, sell the BMW. You won't need it 😃
After a long time i saw a video which actually is practical and related to real word scenarios. As now a days you know better what reviewers put in the video ( which gives them the cash but nothing to the viewer. Thats sad but true! ) hope other see this video and learn something (as they pretend that they know everything ) thoda toh siikha jaa hi sakta hai waise I suggest to start with English 🙈. Well done Real Auto reviews. You are actually on point with the name and content of your channel unlike others!!!
Hey thank you so much! The needle of my happiness meter does a full swipe whenever I see a viewer corroborating something which most others don't understand much! 😃
Thanks for a Justified review. I was also planning to buy one. But because of some hard reviews, I was forced to step down. Now again I am in a positive way. Only hard throught is about the spare shortage and service cost. If its between 6-7k its afordable. Expecting your valuable comments.
Thanks, mate. Much appreciated ❤️ Coming to your query on spares and service, let me tell you that ever since the Mahavir Group took over Benelli India's operation from the imbeciles at DSK (who ruined Hyosung as well), Benelli's and its customers' woes have been on a continual decline. 😃 One of the first things they did was increasing the service interval of all their bikes. Now you're looking at two services in a year. The crooks at DSK treated the bikes like Splendors so that they could make money at every 2500 km. The service cost is still definitely on the higher side, but not that high as well that would be a hindrance to your purchase decision. They just opened their 43rd dealership a couple of days ago! That means they single-handedly have more dealerships than all other premium manufacturers combined! With that kind of expansion, I don't think they would have a shortage of spares! Hope this helps 😃
Very well appreciative way of response from your end. Tank you so much bro. If possible discuss the issue to Mahavir group to sort out these issues. So that the sale will be increase considerably. I requested you this, because you are so enthusiastic in such a way of deliberation. Thank you once again for the nice reply.
Thank you! I did tell this in 2019 itself 😃 that too in person! You have nothing to worry. I take full responsibility of the bike I review and the things I say about it 😃 I will screw the manufacturer's happiness if they lack in after sales.
Thanks for your video on the Benelli TRK 502 I only just saw this so I'm two years later but I found it excellent with honest and plain truth review on this bike I have a Himalayan that I love but not great on long freeway rides here so I've been looking at the TRK and sat on both the standard and the X and although I can touch the ground on the X I didn't feel comfortable enough in slow traffic stuff so I'm getting the standard and selling the Himmi your video nailed the decision for me so a big thanks again mate cheers Mal from Australia
That was the most practical and helpful review ! Thank you man ! Also, did Benelli manage to reduce the service cost with BS6 variant ? It used to be roughly 7k-8k for first 3 services and 14-18k for the next 2 which makes it really hard to maintain ! Hope you can get us that update sometime !
Thank you so much for the feedback! Let me check with Benelli about the cost of service from 4th service onwards as I believe the first three services are now around 6-7k. But those subsequent services are at 14-15k would definitely hurt. Let me check and get back to you. 😊
@@RealAutoReviews Yes, I am 5'6" so hopefully if it's not the extreme maintenance costs ! I rode the 390Adv for 800kms, it didn't create much of a problem except when I had to keep my foot down on a slope... But I think a twin would be a better option while upgrading from a single cylinder.... Earlier I wanted the CB500X due to Honda's extremely affordable services but that's priced too high.... Sorry for the typical middle class thoughts brother butI I need to consider these😐
@@d_wolf no, not at all; these are absolutely valid points. Honda does have the lowest service cost in big bikes. But, yes, a two-lakh-rupee premium is not justified. So let me check with Benelli and get back to you at the earliest. 😃
No nonsense, to the point review. What does a prospective buyer need---exactly what is described here in this video! Would appeal to buyers to watch this instead of confusing and deluding themselves by watching reviews of CAT-A's when it can clearly be seen that their innate and misplaced sense of curiosity kills them and what results from it is just trash. From personal experience I can tell you that iss review aur baaki mein zameen aasmaan ka farak hai!
Review is very point to point.. now I am go to subscribe this channel because I want such point point reviews.. brother please tell me whats your height? God bless u brother 🙌
@@gearinghearts512 In Delhi the on-road price is 5.71 lakh. Which city do you live in? Plus, the routine serivce would cost you around 6.5-8 K I think. Two services in a year generally, so that would mean a cost of around 14-16 k. I think that's okay for a six lakh rupee motorcycle. :)
You can't really go wrong with either. The service costs of Benellis have come down now under the new ownership (since 2019). That said, the only major advantage of this Benelli over the KTM is the unstressed nature of the engine. Buy the Benelli if you really plan to cover long distances. Else, go for the KTM 😃
Thanks alot!! And yes i do plan to cover the long road with comfort and that i think i will go with Benelli , yes this really helped me clear out things between the two..again thanks a alot and keep up the good work loved your videos👍🏼
Hey bro really liked ur review I have a question I am gonna be 18 next month and planning to buy trk 502x I am 5.8 height and weight is around 55 kg so I'm slim so wandering should I go for x model or normal model i have a bullet which I ride every day so i think weight would not be much off a issue but I want ur suggestion. Thank u
I am just 5'1", brother. I had to wear thick-soled boots to test this one. However, anyone who's 5'5" and above would be able to ride it. And, no, I don't recommend ADVs and cruisers for city riding. The nakeds are the absolute best machines for the city. 😃
Nothing that would trouble you. In fact, even on bikes that have a lot of vibration, you are not bothered when you are maxing out in each gear. The vibrations become a bother only while cruising, which is not the case on this bike 😃
@@RealAutoReviews lots of review i saw says there is quite some vibration as you go on higer revs, my current meteor 350 does around 90 kmph smoothly above that i start to feel vibration under seat and footpegs. I m looking to upgrade to some that will do 110 to 120 kmph without vibration (cruiser/adventure).
@@doc_verma the issue with most reviewers is that they don't understand WHERE the vibrations matter and where they don't. On this bike you can cruise comfortably at even 130-140. I would also suggest that you take a look at my V-Strom 250 review. 😃
@@RealAutoReviews Haha. Cool. Let me rephrase it then. Which one of the two would u suggest some one looking for a mid capacity adv. Just between these two.
@@logansnake1843 See, the Honda does everything a wee bit better than the Benelli. So it's the better motorcycle. But is it 2 lakh rupees better? No. That said, if someone tells me that they can stretch and get the Honda, I would ask them to go ahead because it is hands down the better motorcycle.
I went to see one of these and I found it very heavy and complicated to push/pull around, is this something that I would be able to learn (i.e better understanding the weight and how to support it)?
@@RealAutoReviews Yeah I think a smaller one is going to suit me given it is my first ever bike. I'm interested in the versys 300 but haven't managed to see one in person yet. Apart from that I'm thinking of buying a naked (e.g CB500F / MT03) and adding a rack (I want to tour a little bit), not sure if a terrible idea.
@@nishalc Not a bad idea, the MT-03. Wait for sometime and I should have the bike's review soon. Hopefully Yamaha India will conduct the media ride soon 😃
M 5 feet 5 .. its a nice bike bt not again best in the segment. Parts r costly and there are even questions on the availability of the parts plus service charges r high.
Yours is a BS6 or a BS4? Also, if you can give a few examples of the things you mentioned, that would be great. I mean, you could share the prices of a few parts that you think are expensive and also the service charges, and more that you can share. 😃
@@RealAutoReviews yeah there is channel name called counting kilometres .his trk got damaged cause there was no bash plate.and he stranded middle of nowhere .so yeah benelli should add that
Well, I haven't seen his channel but what I can say without even watching is the absence of a bash-plate doesn't damage a bike; the rider not accounting for it (the lack of a bash plate) while riding can! Also, it's such a big misconception that ADVs are go anywhere bikes. They are not. Have said that in the video. They are BIG Burly SUVs of the motorcycle world with almost zilch off-road ability.
BTW what example you want to present for your audience by leaving bike handle by both hands while riding? Please be a responsible creator...as road accidents are taking millions of lives in India and I am sure you don't want your audiences to follow your stunts...
No. My audience doesn't comprise juveniles who, out of the entire review, would concentrate on just something that doesn't need to be even registered. But thanks for your concern.
I don’t think most Indians are capable enough to review the off roading capabilities of a bike. Compare the off road reviews of Indians vs say, Europeans (ex. Adv 390 reviews)
Er, this is NOT an offroad review. This is NOT the TRK 502 "X" either. This is their "road biased" variant. It's another matter altogether that even the best ADVs out there are meant for "soft offroading" at best. They are not hardcore offroaders by any stretch of imagination. Issue is, ADV riders think that their bikes are the equivalent of Jeep Wrangler Rubicon whereas the fact remains that even the best ADVs out there are the two-wheeled equivalent of something like a Ford Everest 2WD. Off-road wise, you just have good GC (thanks to long travel suspension), and, well, that's it. The power still goes to one wheel only. ADVs are nothing but the most comfortable tourers one can buy. They aren't MX bikes. A 100 cc commuter would do almost all and sometimes more than what an ADV would do off-road. So until the ADV manufacturers develop something like Yamaha's 2-TRAC, such bikes will just remain heavy SUVs of the motorcycle world. Also, for people in many parts of India, offroading is a way of life. And we do it on everything: bicycles, commuter motorcycles, 2WDs and not just on "seemingly purpose built machines". Cheers!
@@RealAutoReviews I wonder why you said “This is the kind of off roading you can do…” in the beginning then. I get your point about not all ADV bikes are off roaders. The fact still stands, most Indian reviewers aren’t skilled enough to draw the line where ADV bikes can go. Just watch how frustrated the instructor was at the launch of the ADV 390.
@@chrissorreda4982 I also said that this kind of offroading even a 100 cc Standard would do. As far as the KTM instructor being frustrated at the media ride is concerned, it's the company's PR agency's fault for not inviting the right people. But you're missing the point: the KTM ADV390 is NOT an off-roader. No ADV is. Dual-sport bikes are much better off-road. ADVs aren't.
@@RealAutoReviews Well said. I have TRK 502x, but my 110 CC Suzuki Smash brought me everywhere more than the TRK. I'am not regret of buying it, as long as I got what i paid for. Maybe it's not the best motorcycle if you compare to another with same CC, but it's good motorcycle. Its not a powerfull motorcycle, but its awesome motorcycle.
@@ariyaduta people don't seem to understand the concept of ADVs. They are just comfortable tourers with good clearance. Most noobs take them as MX bikes and then embarrass themselves big time 🤣
