Thank you for the video - we just purchased the same boat. Does yours have a curtain for between the wheelhouse and cabin? Ours does not, and can't tell if it's missing, or just not there. Thanks.
I really appreciate this video. We've gone back and forth with Jeanneau / Beneteau because the material quality / QC / fit and finish just seems so poor. But there seems to be nothing wrong with the hulls, and the layouts are perfect. How do you find the materials on your cabinets / drawers and so forth? Your boat looks great. Every used BeneJeanneauTeau we've been stank and looked horrible. What other boats did you consider? Love the hull color. All we get in the PNW is white.
Thanks! These boats I consider the "IKEA" of boats, and it gets the job done. I did not need a floating apartment like Sea Ray or Tiara yachts. I wanted a mini yacht and this fit the bill, literally it's the best bang for the buck. Most every boat gets broken and worn out at some point. Look for a future "deep dive" video on this boat.
@@blu-havenmarine288 Just so you know, a 'deep dive' follow-up report would be quite welcome. B's have a rep for falling apart. Has yours? Would you opt for the 250 hp outboard if choosing again? This simple, understated review was very helpful - thank you!
Why do you think used boats like this held onto foul odors? One of the reasons I like this boat is the hard fiberglass surfaces underneath the removable cushions. That design looks like the cushions could be easily replaced and the fiberglass looks easy to wipe down and eliminate mold and mildew. It doesn't seem like smells would be an issue.
Hello, great video of a great looking boat 🛥 ! thank you so much for sharing the info. can you tell me since you ordered it in custom blue how long did it take for you to take delivery of her? also is she a saltwater or freshwater boat? And can you recommend the broker you ordered her from. Thank you 🍻
We use the Antares 8 in the Adriatic Sea in salt water, and it performs really great. Be aware: Each Antares is manufactured in Poland and shipped to the destination...
3-5 foot waves so far, tough little boat. Cuts waves pretty good with big splashes over the bow. I do not like taking her out over 13 MPH winds, the boat is light weight and the winds likes to push her around sometimes.
There was not an Air conditioning option when I ordered the Antares 8, I know it's available on the Antares 9 and it's a $6,500 option, however that was a few years ago, prices are probably higher now. Try an aftermarket A/C, but I think you need a generator or need shore power.
The Jeanneau sister ship - NC 795 - as of 2023 offers a complete A/C installation package minus the A/C unit itself. Installed during factory assembly, it saves a lot of the hassle and some expense of a post-delivery install. Thru-hulls (2), pump/screen, all hoses, control panel, AC breaker box, ducting and the list goes on. Perhaps the Antares 8 offers something similar?
Thanks for this video. It was excellent. Can you put a generator and air conditioning system on it? Would you find saying how much you paid for your lovely blue-gray model?
Yes there is an option for an Air conditioning 8 000 BTU 110 V / 50 Hz (On shore power socket). There is a generator option on the larger Antares 9 but not on this boat. Retail is $125,000 USD. The equipment option is on my web site: blu-haven.com/boats
