Scar update after a year: the surgery didn't work that well. It's almost the same lol. But I had to try. I know it's very stupid from your side, but it's just a trauma I had in my childhood. I just wanted to share an intimate problem I had with you. Today I'm just trying not to think about it much and carry on with my life. It's just aesthetics, and I'm healthy which it what matters the most!

They have so many talented crafters that sell their wares there! I'm glad you had your surgery. You did it for yourself. We can all talk & say everyday that it wasn't noticeable, but to you, it was. I'm glad you're happy with the results! I'm envious of your nomad life & wish I would have traveled more prior to getting married & having children. Before watching this video to the end I just have to say: I like scars, have a few one of my own, one (smaller) in the face and one on the head from an operation where no hair grows back. They make us unique and when my scar on the head was still very fresh I felt like I'm somehow supporting people who have irregularities on their body. It just shows that you are a living being. sorry, don't have good words right now. For young people it's often really hard but at least when you get 30+ you'll care much much less what others think - as you're able to create your own "standard". When you are young you think the world is as it is and there are static rules and everything which is not normal has to be hidden. Being older you just be your own judge and stand for what you think is right. Who gives a * about a few random animals who make themselves boring and want others to be boring too :)
Beautifully stated! One of the best things about getting older is finally getting to a point where you just don't care what others think of you! You live to please your family, friends & yourself! I never even noticed Sergio's scar. 1 thing we all have in common, it supercedes gender, race, religion, all humans have at least 1 scar! I believe it's impossible to get from birth to death, at a hopefully high number, without a scar. It shows you've LIVED!!! Be PROUD of every.single.scar! It tells your life story! Sergio has a real cool story that went along with that scar! Own it!
