I'll admit that I've got some homework to do on this one but I'm not sure it has the gesture control on the infotainment like some of the other Beemers. But this color is dope! Its like a light blue/silver mixture. And the way the shifter twitches to the right for after pressing the park button is the jump off!
Not sure this guy has all of his facts straight ( it does not weight 2600 pounds for example), but it is the best driving BMW I have had in the last 12 years. I have had mine for a month now , and the color gets complements everywhere I go. This is a great driving car
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I think it’s a bit big. i’m used to smaller cars my last one was a countryman. I got the xt4 on price alone but ended up not liking it and in the long run if I want something better i’m more comfortable with. so hopefully I can get this. or i’m stuck with the xt4. it drives nice just not fun.
Ive had it with ultra low profile wheels. Where i live, the roads aren't great and it means punctures and wheel damage constantly. Apart from that, i dont like what it does to the ride.
HELP! in your opinion. What is the best car for gas, and comfortability for long road trips (my husband and I drive to Wisconsin from Tennessee twice a year) some features I would love is lane assist, gps navigation, and rear cross traffic alert. We are hoping to get a vehicle within the next couple months and we are not sure at all because we've always done buy here pay here car shops. We've never went though a dealership. PLZ HELP. Thank you so much!
Probably not too much in power. But this will still feel like a more performance oriented car by a bit. Tuning a 230 will be a great cost effective way to go tho!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed thanks for the reply. but when I press sport mode the left flap doesn't open and close and I don't have any bubbles ... think I have a problem with the flap control. Thanks for the reply. 👍🏻
@@dk.m1404 i just got the car 2 weeks ago, if you are referring to the flap opening when you rev in park, try putting it into neutral and put the parking brake down(not setting car into P), it'll open it, it's becuz they put a rev limiter in park mode!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed according to car and driver it’s curb weight is 3,517. I think that was a mistake on BMW’s website. www.caranddriver.com/bmw/2-series-gran-coupe
Yeah there was some misinformation on BMW's website about the curb weight. There are some threads in the comments about that. Weird how multiple sources said different things
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Thats true. Even whats published is subject. I dont think anyone thinking of this car would really consider weight anyway. Keep up the great vids!
Sure, the performance numbers are impressive, and the interiors of these subcompact entry level luxury cars have gotten muuuuuuuuch nicer, but imho there are many far more compelling places in the car market to take $50k. Wouldn’t be my personal choice, but if people are into it, more power to BMW, I guess🤷♂️
What are you talking about 2600 lbs? Your voice is so annoying. Even my '03 Rav4 weighs about 3200 lb. The interface is really old looking compared to VW AG vehicles. I thought BMW would be longitudinally mounted. So, I suppose it's FWD biased. Anyone know?
@@BrosFOURRSpeed BMW site says 3600 lb curb, or there about. Is xDrive full-time AWD? My understanding is that most vehicles with transversely mounted engines are FWD biased because they use transaxles.
