True that brother. 0-100 is only for Tesla drivers, manual is for people who love driving. I don't care about 0,3 seconds; it's all about how it engages you and makes you happy when you drive.
@@damirbajic4579 💯 especially in these type of cars where the power is still manageable with a manual. I wish they were lighter tho. The last gen m4 was really heavy and not as fun to drive than the previous versions imo
@@ronaldo19832 Not as fun but much, much, much faster. My 2 year old 330xd with stage one can destroy E46 M3 on any road and new generation is even faster
i don't remember but did he say that the engine sounds are real or is it made through the radio and speakers (fake sound)? i know a lot of car manufacturers do that now especially once scotty kilmer opened my eyes to this phenomenon. ppl. equate performance with sound, be it fake or real
@@Video-Games-Are-Fun I’m sure a good amount of the interior sound is in the speakers. But from the outside the exhaust sounds really good! And under the bridge with the window down I could hear the actual exhaust. Can always deactivate that with BimmerCode
haha yeah cant be mad with any brand new manual car! But I think the M3 and M4 really show off the new front end well compared to the standard 4 series.
I love the 2021 BMW M3 manual, I wish I could drive a manual, I can’t because of my cerebral palsy, a Automatic is easier for me to learn how to drive, I’m still saving up for my refresh Tesla model S
Nice. I really like this M3. I was never a hater of the front end but also never a lover but doesn't look nad here. I'm really curious about the S58 it's been great in other applications. Having a manual is so awesome. Great review man!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Yeah I really gotta check this car out in person. I like the manual and I probably would go manual in the new Z car but in a BMW I'd definitely go with the 8 speed ZF Auto. Would be cool to see u guys doing more comparison videos together. The manual vs auto mcars would be fun. Of course driving experience not racing.
On a motorway run, I’ve calculated that the M3 can do 9.5km per litre, and could go up to 560km with a 59l tank. I could go from London to Paris with that distance.
Unlike most I actually really like the new grille, at least the M version, I'm actually considering getting the new M3, it's the best looking one imo... Great review, never gotten a Bros vid this late greatly appreciated!.. 👏🏾👌🏾👏🏾✊🏾
This was a very tame spec. The carbon seats would be a sweet addition and the Competition looses the manual but gets more power. I like the 2021 M cars a lot!
I agree with you! Like any change a manufacture does to a car, everyone hates on it for a few weeks/months and then finally says, oh yeah that looks good lol! It works great on the M cars and the brighter colors show more of the angles of the car!
I'd say the CLA is a bit softer and comfortable. Personally I find this very comfortable too. I'm used to the hard GTR lol. But Mercedes is up a notch for sure in the comfort compared to all the other brands
Glad you enjoyed the video! I'd buy the M3 all day before the Mach 1. I'm really not a Mustang fan and have no interest in buying one lol. I like the JDM cars and Euro cars way better then American cars. I'd love to buy a manual M3 with the carbon seats!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed its not about opinion take the dodge viper as an example its price was low compared to vehicles of its class i.e V10 cause ot came with a manual.
@@predatorxfilms6904 The manual v10 R8 cost way more than a viper. A manual doesn’t determine the price of the car, compared to the auto option yes, but even a manual GT3RS is crazy expensive. The Urus also doesn’t come with a V10, but it was never going to come with a manual either!
@@pierre598 Did you drive the 550i? It was amazing! The 540i is also good, and more affordable. I haven't driven the M3, yet...but I'm looking for my retirement car and I think the 5 series is a better option, but I know I'll love the M3.
Yeah I never noticed those contours in pictures. But in person the hood design flows perfect to the front. After seeing it more and more, I'm loving the new look. BMW's have been looking the same for too long. So the 2021 M3 and M4 really look new and cool!
It looks way better on the M cars, the 4 series are just too plain down the sides for it to match well, but looks great with the hood lines and the rest of the body work on the M's!
I’d have to sit in the carbon seats to really know. But most likely the bucket seats are really comfortable. So I’d probably pick them. Those kinds of seats always fit me well!
The you-know-what kills it for me, which is a shame considering how much I do like the rest of the car. Love that a manual is still offered, and the S58 actually sounds pretty good! Giulia 🍀 would still be my personal choice in this segment, but this new M3 is still impressive nonetheless.
I can't wait for the Cadillac Blackwing to come out and check it out! It'll be a good competitor to the BMW M3 so we'll have to see what it's like! I love BMW's because of how sporty they are, not sure how well the Cadillac will handle, but I'm sure it'll be nice!
The CT5 is a luxury vehicle (e-segment). Nowadays, it’s very rare to see an e-segment with a manual transmission. BMW got rid of it on their 5 Series, and Audi got rid of it on their A6.
I'm sure you can always tune the manual engine and it would be the same. Don't know why they needed to have two different engine tunes for the different transmission options
That’s what I said. I’m avoiding the manual at all costs. It’s not sold in the UK. Very poor sales of the F82 manual in the UK, so BMW decided it wasn’t worth bringing the G82 manual.
I would love to buy this car but I can’t because 1. Don’t have the money at the moment 2. Don’t know how to drive a manual yet😭😭 Anyways great video as always💯💯
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UeQS2AMo1-I.html Automatic is available. We've just only filmed the M3 in manuals. But here is an M4 we did auto.
there is a specific matte grey i have seen on some luxury cars which looks amazing. i wonder how this would look in audi's nardo grey we see on their sports cars. but the greatest black of all time which will come to autos one day would be vanta black. WOW that would be insane. we have seen it on a demo bmw suv already here on youtube. expensive but athletes can easily afford it.
I'm not sure if the BMW M4 has a manual option yet, but I think it's pretty cool to have a manual sedan! You can have the kids with you and still have a fun drive!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I agree, I had the previous gen M4 coupe manual but I am more leaning towards the M3 this time. My biggest complaint is that front bumper but on the M cars is not as ugly as on the regular line.
Every single car produced has a speedometer that goes higher than it's top speed. The BMW M3 is NOT a 200 mph sedan. That would be cool, but 180 is the top speed.
Yeas, and from what I've seen the auto is only for the competition mode. So it'll be a bit more expensive for sure. id buy the manual and tune the car anyways lol
@@BrosFOURRSpeed still curious how much torque the manual transmission can handle. There has to be a reason they kept the manual at the same 406 ft lb of torque like the previous generation even though it’s a slightly different engine...
I was afraid to watch this video because I knew how good that engine would sound. Lol. This car, in the coupe model, was on my Top 3 to replace my FJ. I went with my new Jeep. Lol. Surprised to see that manual transmission! Great option! I like the controversial new grille. Looks aggressive. Good video Brian. Thanks! 👍
Looks great especially the front end! I would need the Competition with the Automatic because I physically cannot drive a Manual. Not that I am going to get one but, just saying. I still want the Supra!! Awesome review!!
We have an M4 competition review coming later this week! Both are great cars for whichever the buyer is looking for! The Supra is a great car too!! Glad you enjoyed the review!
people forget that automatics are great for older men who can actually afford these cars. why? many have nerve damage or foot problems. that eliminates a large % of buyers. then the new generation of kids doesn't drive manual cars. also, reselling a manual car is much more difficult as how many people can actually drive it? you need a niche buyer and that can take a long time, thereby taking a hit in dealer trade in value if you just want it off your hands. lastly, you can't drive manual in cities like new york. there is just too much stop and go every 5 or so seconds on each block where you have red lights or stop signs (i live at coney island in brooklyn). automatic in these scenarios are better suited
@@Video-Games-Are-Fun yea I agree, busy cities, autos are going to be better. But also like you said older people, or even younger people like me who have a disability and more importantly Military service men and women who come home with physical disabilities. I would hate for them to come home and want their dream car and it only come in a manual so they have to settle with something else. I think maybe some cars should come in both automatic and manuals though. I mean the GT500 comes in an auto but the GT350 only comes in a manual? Doesn’t make much sense to me. I might have even bought a GT350 a couple years ago... But those are obviously just my thoughts.
BMW has come a long way from the boring, every car seems the same but the length, look. I can see a family person wanting this car for the performance and the practicality of it. Do you ever find it hard to review certain vehicles when you are so used to higher performance vehicles. I mean, some cars may seem exciting and sporty to some, but to you, it may seem a bit boring because you are used to driving finer vehicles?
I think BMW did a good job creating this generation M3. Super cool car and it stands out! Since I’ve driven such a verity of cars. I’m pretty good an understanding what each car is supposed to do and who it’s primary target buyer is. So while I don’t want to own every car I film. I can talk about from the perspective of its desired buyer 😉
You can opt for the carbon seats if you want tho. These were comfortable and supportive while still looking good and even being ventilated. Good luxury bucket seat to be honest
