I have the X5 x30d F15, but I think I like this X3 more. Better performance for this engine and a bit more compact and easy to maneuver car, especially when traveling outside of Germany wherein I streets are more narrow. Next time it will be an X3. It's not less family and traveling car than the X5.
This is probably the best production diesel engine in the planet right now! Respect to the B57 ✊ I have a feeling this new engine is going to be reliable in the long run! Would you say this engine is better than the OM656 on the Mercedes 350d and 400d models?
Unfortunately, is even weaker that its predecesor, n57.. We have cases with broken b57’s at 100k kilometes..broken crankshaft, broken bearings, basically the whole engine...
@@VladVVT really! The block itself should be much stronger due to going for a closed deck design than a open deck on the N57, surprised to hear this, so would you say the OM656 is more reliable
@@TESTDRIVEFREAK This is not a real test :) This test strongly depends on wind value and direction, road conditions etc. It would be nice to see avg from the beginning of normal daily drive.
But the problem at average test is, some test in flat area with less wind and less crossroad country road. Some test are in very hilly area and many city and stops etc and windy. It can be from 5 liter to 10 liter average. Thats why i dont do average test. It depends on area. So that's why i do only cruise fuel consumption test on flat road autobahn and almost no wind. Some citys has many traffic jam and traffic light, some city has better traffic flow etc there is so difference average fuel test
Some write that it was made in South Africa or in South Carolina USA. Now they are also starting to be manufactured in China. I'm not sure in which production country this BMW is in the video.
the driver is tall, over 1.90, thats why the driver seats is set far behind. you should watch the passener seat to backseat legroom. And the owner of BMW 5 series says that X3 has more space than 5series, because of the baby seat.
