Does my BMW X5 M50i 2023 have launch control, currently im scared to do the same procedures as you did because I dont't want to damage the car. So do we: -warm up the car for 6 miles -manual mode put it in S1 -turn off traction control -apply full brake and full throttle at the same time until flag logo appears Whst if i dont warm up the car?
Honestly I don’t remember the steps, don’t have vehicle any longer, but if I remember correctly the instructions can be found in the car search launch control I believe it has you drive couple of miles before you can even do it so that will be your warm up period
@@SignatureAuto_ lol i found that the manual has the instructions of launch control so yeah, but one more thing is do i enable dynamic traction control when wanting to use launch control?
Hi- congrats on the new vehicle. Looks and sounds good. How do you open/close the valves? Is that a after market mod, or is standard feature ( open/close) on x5m50i ?
Thank you. The exhaust sound is stock, opening and closing the valves is standard feature. To open or close: go to settings, general settings, scroll down to (engine sound), this gives you three options; sporty, balanced or reduced. (Sporty opens it up)
@@SignatureAuto_ awesome. Thank you !! Do you know, when we start the vehicle, what is the default mode that the vehicle starts up with? Also, do you know, does the “sporty” mode add more sound while the car is in “sport plus” setting? Ty
@@jaspreetbains9758 The mode remains the same as to which setting you choose ex. If you leave it on reduced then it will stay the same every time you turn on the car until you change it. Sporty is the loudest changing it sport plus does not add more sound it’s same as sporty setting.
@@SignatureAuto_ Do you recommend doing a muffler delete on it or when it’s on sporty is loud enough? Also does this car has a ADS? That means that some of the engine sound is played thru the speakers. My old 18’ X5 50i didn’t had it thankfully and I’m picking one of these tomorrow and I hope they don’t have neither.
@@Lvtinstallion I wouldn’t do a muffler delete when you put the engine sound to sport it sounds plenty good and it comes from the exhaust no ADS. When you test drive it make sure you have the engine sound on sport so you can hear it with valves open.
This is where I got the diffuser from its $70 cheaper than the dealer autotecknic.com/collections/g05-x5/products/bmw-m-performance-g05-x5-carbon-rear-diffuser This is the link for the mirror covers autotecknic.com/collections/g05-x5/products/autotecknic-m-inspired-painted-mirror-covers-g01-x3-g02-x4-g05-x5-g06-x6-g07-x7?variant=32815070642235
@@paulmoser6907 The vehicle comes with adaptive M suspension, but air suspension is not standard. That is an upgrade. I believe the X7 does come standard with air suspension.
Hi- are you planning on doing an exhaust note video while driving in sport plus. Interested in hearing how the exhaust pops sound from inside the cabin, and if they are noticeable like in x3m
I would say there is slight differences in size if you would like to see the exact dimensions for a 2015 vs 2021 take a look at this link www.cars.com/research/compare/?vehicles=bmw-x5-2015-371234,bmw-x5-2021-414845
