4k We take 2 of the hottest performance premium luxury SUV's and see how they compare and which one we would pick given the choice. Which one would you choose? The Porsche Cayenne or the BMW X5?
Subscribed. My wife has the BMW X7 M50i family hauler (love it). I have a Porsche 911 Carrera S 992 Cabriolet (love it more). I’m looking for a daily driver to help carpool the kids (with love). This video ultimately helped me make the decision on which model to choose. Both are excellent of course, but the pure joy in your faces in the Cayenne (launch control) is undeniable. The value of the BADGE personified. Porsche FTW. I’m ordering the Cayenne Coupé GTS. Thank you for your perspective, and the husband/wife/family dynamic was refreshing for RU-vid auto reviews. Kudos.
Cynthia is awesome. Love her accent. She's super beautiful. Seems like a fun person to be around. She Should defiantly do more reviews with you. I would pick the BMW all day, everyday.
I'm planning to buy a 2019 or 2020 Porsche or BMW SUV. Cynthia was great and reminded me to think about the things my wife will like when she occasionally drives it (she loves her Audi Q3). Keep Cynthia on the reviews! You two have great chemistry together :)
She’s fantastic! You need her more in the videos. Had the 20 X5m comp and loved it. Traded for the 21 m5 comp, which I also love. Bought a 20 x5 40i for my daily. Very impressed with bmw lately. Love the reviews!
Cynthia did a wonderful job, her smile and laughter were uplifting. And her views from a woman’s / mother’s perspective was priceless and very informative. Great Job! Include her in more of your reviews please.
We picked up an X5 M550i a couple of months ago...love the sense of freedom that comes with the power. Amazing luxury, features and technology! Excellent video review and agree Cynthia is amazing!
Great review and beautiful family! Could you please comment on two issues that matter to me on these cars (and your future reviews) 1 Driver sear comfort 2 interior sound level. Thank you so much and keep up the great work!
I agree with Cynthia, she has great taste and the X5M sticks to the road like glue while putting back in to your feet. The Porsche is nice too but I’ve never been a fan of their designs. Great review, I think you covered most of what people would want to know. I would probably had brought up the self parking, self reversing out of tight spaces and the drivers assistance package but to be honest I’ve not used either feature. Lol! I have greatly enjoyed this video. 👍
Great video Brian! And I think this is a fair comparison, since the price variance is less than 7 percent. It's weird to say, but the X5m is a good value compared to the Porsche!
@@EverydayReviews2022 I would choose the X5M. However, I am biased as I have a 2006 X5 4.8is for my winter car, which is kinda like the first-gen X5M in many ways. I just think that dollar per dollar the X5 has more performance than the Porsche. I recognize the brand difference but to get similar performance you have to step up to the Cayenne Turbo s and the price difference equals a Macan s for my wife Lol. Having said that I won't be buying either until they are 3 years old :)
Our 2019 Santa Fe’ locks the doors as you walk away. I was so confused the first couple times I kept hitting the key fob lol. Very nice Video. How lucky to have a wife who shares some car passion with you. It makes like a lot easier when your partner shares the passion. :). I think maybe Cynthia would like this M5 Wagon! She’s a woman after my own heart.
I subscribed because your kid told me to subscribe. Lol but no keep up the good work. I love this type of content! I plan on purchasing a cayenne coupe some day
X5M is about 750 lbs heavier, and not as comfortable to drive due to the sporty stiff suspension (X5 M50i is better here). 2.9 liter 434 hp on Cayenne S is PLENTY fast and playful, it was timed at 4.2 by Motortrend's drivers ...so 4.5 can be consistently achieved by normal drivers in launch control. Cayenne is nimble - yes!
That's what I call real life seat of the pants review. The variance in perspective is something any channel would benefit from, so keep it up. Well done Cynthia, thank you. But I'd go with a Porsche over BMW any day ;)
Thanks. I felt for this was really the only way to do it with limited time as well, there’s not really anywhere you can open up 617hp on the streets and stay out of jail. I have to say, the X5M offered lots of value though.
Your lady did a very good job👍🏾...I'm good with the Beemer, not everyone aspires to own a Porsche. My wife has a Cayenne, I have a beemer X7 M50i and I'll choose to drive it over the Porsche everytime.
Choice: Porsche, but the non coupe configuration. Reasons: 1. Better handling. 2. Better interior design. 3. Badge envy. (When spending this much money, the badge matters.)
Ive bought a x5 40i for a year. Now im thinking about to upgrade to a x5 m50i or porsche cayenne s (not a coupe). x5 certainly has more features and value however porsche offers the shinning badge, hmmm
Important to hear the female perspective. My wife and I go shopping for her car together because she likes to drive and must feel comfortable and approve of the car's performance - acceleration, handling, ergonomics, etc. So, we just ordered a Cayenne Coupe hybrid replacing her M550. The BMW has a terrible ride quality, especially with M package and run flat tires, teeth shattering and back braking. BMW products does not exude luxury in the finishes, leather, etc. like the Porsche and it certainly doesn't drive like the Porsche. BMW may provide a better value (like you said) compared to a Porsche, but that's it. I've owned BMW 7 series since 2001, X5, 3 series, and now an M550 as well as 3 porsches (911 and Cayenne), and without question the Porsche is a better car.
We have a 2018 BMW X5 I do not like the run flat tires so my wife is now considering a 2021 Cayenne Now have to go test drive the Cayenne and Cayenne S Will let you know what we think Great Review, beautiful family
@@byroncyahnis2966 while Porsche is a more expensive product, its drives better and has better quality fit and finish,. Make sure your dealer guides you on the options. It’s crazy but that’s by design, to extract as much money from your pocket as possible. I have fix a flat in the trunk. Porsche does not use run flats as you know.
Porsche is always the best and stronger than BMW, Audi, and Mercedes...BMW stand no chance againts Porsche. Plus Porsche is much more reliable than BMW even though the parts are crazy expensive.
BMW is good, but Porsche is even better! This better reliability for very sporty vehicles also allows Porsche to enjoy a more exclusive image than BMW. Moreover, the current rivalry between BMW and Porsche on the South Shore of Montreal is first and foremost about their respective SUVs.
