Just got my kit yesterday and flipped over all of the housings and installed them, and turns out they're all upside down. I guess the kits come with the housings rectified before shipping now! Otherwise, everything else was spot on; didn't even open the manual. Could've finished in 3 hours but had to start over so took a little over 4.
You didn’t show the switches in the interior. I ordered my Bronco with the auxiliary switches; would be really cool if you could do a video connecting to the pre-run auxiliary switch wiring.
Hey Kevin, not completely sure, but they look a lot like these: www.summitracing.com/parts/pco-5791pt and www.summitracing.com/parts/pco-5796pt - as long as you stick to a 20A circuit
Be careful swapping the Aux circuits just for switch convenience. They are rated at different amperages and have different fusing and wire gauges as a result.
Which bumper do you have on your Bronco. This kit is only for the "modular" bumper. If you have the modular bumper, we would be happy to help get you this fog pocket light kit!
I looked over at Summit Racing, and there are several manufacturers that make weatherproof connectors like the ones in the video. Just have to make sure to get the right crimper as well.
It never inspires confidence when I see companies still including split type lock washers in their products. It's been well proven for many years that they don't actually do anything. This is why you almost never see them in automotive or industry anymore.
Half a video. Incomplete. In all of the videos you guys do you leave out a lot of components. Missing in this video: 1. Product Links and Pricing 2. Switch wiring. Especially on these since they are actually 2 sets of lights in each unit. 3. How do the work? (most important) You have no night time driving / demonstration shots! 4. Review. What are the Pros and Cons? Hopefully your videos will get better in the future and give a complete picture.
