What was it like?
As the saying goes ”Therés no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothes”.
Of all the wool undergarments with us, the ones with high quality wool were the ones we used the most. You can see them in most clips here. Why? They are light, not thick and warms the body but at the same time breathable. We connected the van to a place where there is charger so it gives us heat inside & as well as we can charge our devices.
However, there are times where temperature drops especially middle of the night and early morning, so we light candles and turn the gas oven on for 30 mins. Dont fret, we are very careful that there is no smell of gas.
Water wise? The tank can only fill up to 150 L so it wasn’t enough. We only used the toilet for number 1 & number 2 at a nearby toilet and shower at an available shower station if that’s what you call it. And yes, it’s cold inside but super fun. We boiled our water prior to drinking them and brought our own food premarinated or not because the van has a fridge & a freezer.

He can stand without gloves for an hour but not us adults.
Do you need tons of clothes to stay warm outside?
A good quality wool undergarment paired with outdoor pants & jackets are enough. (based on experience)
