We have many customers that buy the 400 as an entry level machine and are very happy with it. Since the budget is important I always recommend that they should keep their eyes open for low mileage tires or take-offs, for sale at a good price and hang on to them for the winter months. We sell plenty of tires but not everyone is got the coin for that. Since the machine uses a 110 mm bolt pattern, they might get lucky and get wheels included. Customer relations gets you further then a quick sale. Thats how I dress up my machines, somebody that's got deep pockets and needs the newest or biggest, I'm right there slapping their old but new to me wheels and tires on mine at a discount.
It's decent for what it is. It doesn't have a lot of grunt in high Gear especially climbing hills That aren't that steep.. I have the kymco MXU450I And it's about a 100 pounds lighter and I have had no issues . My girlfriend bought the CF moto 400 so she would be able to ride with me. Great videos
I just bought a 400 for the hobby farm. The steering is a bit hard on your arms, maybe I’m just not used to it. But it will be handy for the little jobs around the farm.
I bought both a 400 and a 500 in March 2021. Like them both. The 500 is a beast, but the 400 can hang with it. My 2 sons swap up on the 400 and my wife and I swap up on the 500. My wife needs the power steering on the 500, but my sons don't know what that is :). The winch on the 500 has come in handy a couple of times, so it was a good thing to have gotten the extra. The 400 was about $1300 cheaper with sales tax and handling and destination charges......
I have a 2021, 500 in Blue, bought it last year I have moved logs at my fathers and mine land I plow with it as well ,my first ATV at 45 it is a beast great machine for the price.
I have the 2022 cforce 400. I feel as if my rpms are high but it seems to be a normal thing from what I read?? When warmed up I’m idling at 1550 in park. When I’m driving 20 mph straight in “H” gear I’m about 5000-5100. Is this normal.
It’s really nuts. Rode with an another 220 buddy carrying a 200 pound deer from the woods on a Honda 185cc machine, back in the day. Bigger tires, bigger ruts. No limit on how deep mud is. You just make bigger problems. The original idea was to drive around problems, unlike a 2000 pound jeep. Somebody would get rich making a 250 4wd with no battery and electronics.
What a great video it doesn't get better than this thank you just what i was looking for so glad you mentioned the rancher i was wondering about that as far as size
I have a cf500 bought last year great machine in blue , my first ATV at 45 have pulled logs have a plow on it cause I live up north its a beast. Im a big guy it will do almost 60 fast enough for me . I recommend getting the 500 cause it comes with the winch and better rims
My 520L is great. My only Gripe's have been the useless alloy exhaust heat shield's which I replaced with exhaust bandage and a few fasteners corroding. Over 1,900 miles (3,000km) of trouble free fun!
Hi, Love your videos so that's why I got one. I'm in the UK. I have the 400 in camo came with tow HITCH, WINCH, and alloys excellent machine and love it as I live in the mountains and Woods. My question is. Its coming up for its first service 250 miles. Where is the RESTRICTOR located. I've watched a video and it points out a nut and screw on the throttle undo the screw tighten it off with a nut and that gives you more throttle. But have also been told that the ECU has to be swapped out at a cost of £200.$275.30 Is this correct? The model number is CF450EPS and got it brand new in March. Many thanks. Keep up the good work.
I live in canada and my 2021 cforce 400 came with alloy rims, power steering, winch, and signal lights. Great machine! My only issue is one of the CVT cover bolts was stripped by whoever put it together, and they didn't put the front 2 bolts in for the front skid plate.
I'm curious if you have a video or a fix for the brakes. Really want to disconnect the front brakes from the rear foot pedal. I almost wrecked my 21 600 the first mile riding it because I didn't know they were hooked up together. Thanks
Personally I would rather get stuck every once in a while, and use a winch, rather than replace axles every month, because of oversized tires. Things are engineered for tires they come with. Why people don’t understand the tire is the last gear in a machine, baffles me.
Excellent comparison and one great video I have a question for you do you know the part number for the rubber grommets that hold the oil change door on the door is fine but somehow I lost a little grommets on the trail
and 450 has same rims and tyres as 500. Euro models have cst tires that are wery good and us has some cheap ones like polaris 570. The thing i dont get is why in the us you cant get 400 and 500 as 2 up models and people are getting storage with seats just to ride 2up. At the same time In europe i never seen 500s 1 up model 😎
