Yeah this car was awesome! Loved the experience! Heres a new video of a 63 Grand sport. Much different for sure ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aC5gmUaJ8MM.html
What a beautiful car, both inside and out. It looks like there is lots of room in the interior. The styling looks awesome. With the top down, it just doesn’t get much better! I bet it turns some heads. I would have to beef up the exhaust a bit though. Great video Brian! 👍
Fantastic looking car. Not a big fan of convertibles but don't mind this one at all , really like the solid top. Great looking interior design and awesome interior spec loving the colours. Great review
I'm glad this was a retractible hard top. Looks perfect up and down! Glad you enjoyed the video. Awesome seeing wha the new Corvette Convertible was all about!
Fair enough! I liked the older model Corvettes, but this one is so much more exotic looking! It's very cool how they decided to join the mid engine club!
Great review, thats new look and revision of corvette is my favorite it Had that Ferrari looks. Until you see the badge American muscle. But ill still choose JDM anytime. Keep up the great content 🤙🏼
You’ve done a nice job explaining the car very clearly spoken easy to follow. But when you explained the buttons on the stack you said the top buttons work for the passenger there for the driver and the bottom buttons are for the passenger. A great video good job.
Yeah I think your right. I was just looking at the seat buttons and the way they are aiming looked like that would make sense lol. I still don't like all those buttons in a row. Worst part of the car :)
@@BrosFOURRSpeed The center stack is so controversial! The only reason to eliminate it would be to make room for a manual transmission. I love the stack it sets it apart from all the others! Remember the split window in the 67 vette! It's the most collected Corvette ever!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed And for those with more $$$ than willpower, they pay the ridiculous up-charge. When open orders are filled, and the market price drop below MSRP their depreciation will be significant.
Oh nice! The delays were too annoying for us. Mike ordered his October 2019 and it kept getting pushed till maybe April 2021. In Feb he got a refund on the order and bought the R8 lol Hopefully yours gets here!
There are a handful of dealerships that charge just sticker price thank God. Takes a lot of searching and I'm on a "list" for a Z. BEYOND excited. Just gonna grind and save money!
Seems like al the used ones are well into the $100k mark. New will go for MSRP, but at this point all the 2021's are sold. So it'll be a year wait to buy one at sticker
That is the stupidest thing I've ever heard in my entire life. It's not a sports car anymore because the engine is in the back the best sports car in the world have the engine behind the driver
Other than no manual transmission the Audi R8 doesn't begin to compare to the c8 Corvette. A friend of mine had an Audi R8. He traded it in on a 2021 Corvette c8! The Audis tend to spend alot of time on lifts in the shop like so many of the European brands.
My brother currently owns an Audi R8 and it's his second one. Neither of them have ever been in the shop, Audi is a very reliable brand! That's one reason he bought that car because of the reliability! Neither have had any problems mechanically! They are completely different cars too and he sold his first R8 to get the C8, but decided to cancel that order to buy another R8! The C8's have already had recalls and some issues! It's a great car for someone who wants all that tech and the newer design, but for the same price, he'd rather have the old school R8 with the manual! Different options for different people!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed He's lucky! I met a guy out at Ron Fellows performance driving school. He had a Maclaren that he was in the process of getting rid of! He also had a c8 on order!
@@johnshuler1396 The McLaren cars are definitely garbage 😅. All I’ve ever heard is huge amounts of repairs and issues. R8 has the old school character that we like. While the C8 is better on every modern test. It just lacks that old school character and drama. We like the older feeling better
Tough choice. This has the exotic looks for sure and better handling. But the GT500 is a powerhouse! Both seem to be going for similar money in todays market. Not sure!
@@terencemichel8972 I mean, I’ve been driving for 17 years now and that’s never happened! Not to say it can’t or someone won’t steal your gas, but at least for me that’s never been an issue. Has that happened to you? I wouldn’t let that worry you.
Much different car. I like the Supra better since its way faster after some mods and tuning. This is much nicer on the interior and way more exotic. But I don't like how low the engine revs. Supra is more snappy feeling since the turbo is so responsive. Both handle very well. Supra can get tail happy. C8 is very planted. Both cars offer something very different.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed The C8 was not over 500 mile break in period. 20 percent of the torque and some power was limited still. Not a Z51, so the gearing is not as good. Good video, thanks for posting.
and later when I work and can make a lot of money. I will choose and buy a Chevrolet Corvette Stingray C8 instead of the two cars of my dreams. namely the Aston Martin Vantage and McLaren 720s. because those two cars are very expensive in my opinion and I also think about the car tax too☺️☺️☺️
Yea those are definitely going to cost a lot more in a lot of ways! The C8 is a great mid engine car to give you that exotic look without breaking the bank as much!
Here is the only Alpina we've filmed: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7xqsgSUwxRE.html If we ever have access to a new Ferrari we'll certainly film one!
I LOVE, absolutely LOVE your Supra videos. You’re being yourself. The speaking cadence you chose to use in these “review” videos needs work. There’s no reason to sound like a tram tour guide. Be you, it’s what we’re here for. Ditch the “review you.” I fast forward all of these to where you’re just driving. I care about what you think. You deliver it all so well in this setting. This is constructive criticism. Not me bashing you. I’m sub’d for more great content. All and all you’re doing great. Keep being YOU!
I hear yah. At least you can just watch the test drive portion to get the real take on the car. The exterior and interior parts are really just to show the car for people who want to see wha tit looks like, or who are buying it. I try to keep that very clear to understand lol
@@codylevick7498 Chevys website has all that info so you can actually see it! There’s the 1LT, 2LT, 3LT, Z51 package and so many others for me to try and explain! You can actually build your spec and see it right on the website!
2LT seems to be a good option. The 3LT really only gives you genuine leather covering every service and suede on the ceiling. 2LT has leather on the seats and steering wheel. And synthetic leather on the dash and doors. With a fabric headliner. 3LT in my opinion is not worth the money. Go for a 2LT with Z51, magnetic suspension and the bucket seats ;)
I swear they added the chrome trim to the black wheels just so they'd make you upgrade to the 3k all black wheels. The chrome trim makes such a difference in how the car looks, in this case, bad haha
You don't like the aching silver? These are the $900 upgraded wheels too! When my brother spec'd his new, he went with the basic silver wheels since we'd change them to aftermarket. Stock C8 wheels aren't the best
Bros FOURR Speed I personally think the all black ones look better. saw some company sell vinyl to cover up the machined edge already for your specific rims so I don’t think it’s just me lol I just personally find them to be a little tacky. If you look up C8s with people who painted over the machined edge, you can see it improves the car look by a lot. But I do agree the base wheels look the worst haha
Yeah! I'm torn between the coupe and convertible! It doesn't take much time to take the roof off by hand, but you loose that trunk space, in the convertible you get both!
That's about the going rate for a used one. You can get a new one for MSRP. But you'll be waiting a year till the car arrives. My brother was waiting for 1.5 years till he canceled it.
@@christopherpoterson2244 My brother had one on order for MSRP but decided to cancel with delays, so people are selling them over sticker because of the demand and limited supply. I’ve looked into this with the process he went through.
Yes that is true, but the wait is like two years now! My brother had one on order and cancelled it because of the wait time, so if you want one now, that's the price for the demand!
@@GB-fe1ci That'll be an exciting car if you want to buy one, better get on the list now and put down a deposit. That way you'll be one of the first to take delivery!
Dear followers!! Don't let the beautiful pictures confuse you . Anyone who buys a new car from GENERAL Motors the chance you threw your money into the trash is very large. In this company there is no customer service, the company's management does not care at all, if you have a problem or a malfunction, you can only pray to God there is a chance that the help will come faster. GM is a very dangerous company, be careful and keep your money safe.!!!Share so more people don't get screwed.GM is a big bluf
