I have the 18 Equinox and my sales guy tends to hint at me when the time comes to give it a look. Well I checked it out recently and it's not that much more different than the Equinox. The Trailblazer has more bang for the buck from what I can tell of. Although the 2022 Equinox from what I read will have a lot more safety features standard. So only time will tell. Of course if or when the time comes I will give this Trailblazer a test drive and see if it impresses me. Just wish the Trailblazer had LED interior lights instead of the standard light.

Hey Tony I too have a 18 Equinox Diesel and with only 29,000kms on it I can't see me trading out of it anytime soon...but most importantly we love it. Now the Trailblazer looks awesome and has great tech but for me I don't want to go down in physical size of vehicle and with this Generation Equinox being such a hit I don't think I would switch to the much better looking Trailblazer. However with the NEXT Generation of Equinox coming in approx. year or a year and a half from now excites me, cheers!

. . . what are the tire size, what is the ground clearance, and what is the towing capacity with the 1.3 litre engine? . . .

Hey Peter thanks for the comment it has P225/55R18 all-season tires, 7.5inches of ground clearance and 1000lbs towing.

The believe the activ and rs only have the 1.3l and the 9 speed auto whether it is fwd or awd.

Trailblazers have leak issues in the back - seams were not sealed correctly at the factory. I bought mine Oct 3rd by the week of Nov 2nd I had water in the back hatch under the floor. My trailblazer was in the service department from Nov 9th - Nov 16th, they found 4 leaks they had to fix.

Sorry to hear about your issue, we haven't seen that before did they have to replace the weather stripping or something different? Hopefully your dealer has addressed your issues having it for a week seems excessive to me.

@@WesternGMDrumheller It's been addressed.But the issue is an alert in the system. It is an ongoing issue.

It's too bad that doesn't have the technology package with bigger infotainment and DIC with Bose audio. I ordered the RS in oasis blue without the sun and liftgate package.

Sweet ride Syd! The Technology package is great for sure but not everyone wants the more expensive options we always order a mix of trims and packages.
