Hi Hannah, pull the rug towards the dinnig room that the corner where the tree is matches the corner of you window and put there the leather chair in front of the window,with that you gain more space for your big tree and it doesn't look crowded. If you don't like it try to put the chair in a different room for the season. 😊

I lost my Dad this time last year and so I'm kind of skipping Thanksgiving and I went ahead and deocrated to bring some joy into the house. We ordered Cracker Barrel to do the Thanksgiving cooking and I changed the color of my tree decor to red as well. Just the look of last years tree reminded me of him. So sometimes we just have to do those things to help our hearts. It's going to be a wonderful Christmas. Just different this year.

@@sarahjones6858 thank you. Last year I forced myself to make Thanksgiving dinner. I just got mom home from the hospital and Dad was still in. He had stopped eating. So the nurses thought it might tempt him to eat--but he didn't. So we decided this year no pressure and Cracker Barrel has a great Thanksgiving option and so it just made sense to us this year. You are sweet to comment. Thank you!

I love that you can see the green on the tree and it is not too overwhelmed with decor. Seeing the lights lit up on my tree at night is one of the things I enjoy most throughout the season. I aim to keep it more simple this year and like also that you focused on the true meaning of Christmas with a few candles. That nativity picture on the mantel is beautiful.

Thanksgiving goes into storage the weekend after and a deep clean happens. The first week of December, we start planning when we want to get together to get the tree and decorate. I have 4 adult children, 1 is married with a 2 yr old and I have a 16 yr old. It just isn't right if we can't all put our ornaments on the tree, eat, play games, go thru family pictures, watch movies or sports. This is usually the 1st or 2nd weekend of Dec. Then we come back together Christmas Eve or Day for more familyness. 😍 Our family motto is "We have more fun on accident than most people do on purpose". 🤪😉 Christmas goes into storage before New Years. Your home is so sweet and tidy. You've come a long way with this house. Love it!

I just can't put up Christmas until Thanksgiving is over. I would go crazy with all the extra stuff in my house. I love Christmas don't get me wrong I just can't put up decor this early. The weekend after Thanksgiving is soon enough for outside and the first weekend in December for the inside.

I, too, have an area rug that I ordered. Since it was big, they folded it in half to ship it. I can't get the wrinkles out. And, of course, it's the first thing you see when you come into our house. Sigh. Your house is beautiful , and I can't believe you have done all of this while 38 wks. pregnant! Wow.

Ladies, see if you have a local rug cleaning company that will pick up the rug and clean it. It may not need cleaning but the process would certainly eliminate the wrinkles as they will roll the rug up when it’s returned. That should take care of the wrinkles. Or if it’s an option they them clean the rug in your home. The cleaning solution should also provide the dampness need to get rid of those wrinkles. Happy holidays. The house is beautiful Hannah.

I just saw a lady on a Tik Tok that had corner on her rug that wouldn’t lay properly. She placed a wet towel over it and ironed it and it made the corner lay flat. Could be worth a try.

Hi Hannah,love all your videos,thank you . For the wrinkles on your rug you can use a cotton towel and a steam iron. You put the towel over the wrinkle then just press the button on your iron that show steam ,then steam and iron ,steam and iron,then lift the towel and fluff the rug with your hand. Love the decor you purchased at HL and I absolutely love the tree. Gorgeous and full. So so pretty. I also love the little three ceramic Christmas trees. They are just perfect for anywhere. I can't believe you are going to have baby in your arms by Christmas........that time has gone so fast from my prospective but probably not yours........such a special time. I am so happy for you family and what a beautiful gift to have a baby under the tree in the Nativity scene......how blessed. It would be cute for Jaylen to build a small cradle /crib for around the tree and put baby in during the holidays days .........so so sweet and like the real nativity. Hey, Hannah! Looks so cozy and cute! Try using a damp cloth and then run a iron over it for the rug wrinkles. Hopefully the steam will take the wrinkles out.

You did an amazing job at decorating your home! It does look very cozy!❤❤❤ I'm loving the pictures on the mantle! It's the reason for the season! The leather chair will look better to move it the exact opposite of where it is. It blocks the walk way and it will open the room up to move it there.

Love your channel… I just can’t imagine putting up a tree before December… I literally put up my tree the day before our day of Christmas fun and take it down the day after. I just don’t have room for the clutter. Love my grand babies and love seeing them light up from the tree and gifts, but I just see clutter. I know it’s my own problem… your home is pretty… anxious for your baby arrival video!!!
