I know I usually have lots of days for classroom setup, but I had to move my things in Friday, get it set up, and then do Meet the Teacher on Monday night! So I had NO TIME and had to hustle....but WE DID IT! We started school Wednesday, so I'll be posting that vlog tomorrow morning. Not everything in the room is 100% together or ready, especially centers, but PSA your room doesn't need to be fully together for the first day (so future teachers, don't stress it!!!) There is NOTHING on our bulletin boards or really the front wall, but a lot of that will be put up together in the first few weeks of school! So...what do y'all think???

WOW!! You rocked it girl. It looks so cozy. Huge fan of all the plants. Love seeing the bins for fine motor activities. You could make a sign for the grocery cart items with a picture of each item and have it on a clipboard with a dry erase marker so the kids can write how much each item cost or just have plain notepads and pencil so they can write down their grocery list. This way you're incorporating writing skills and even math into their play. Have a wonderful school year.

I still can’t get over that your school let you stay until midnight 😱 We’ve always had to leave at 6, and sometimes earlier if the custodians would need to leave earlier. You did an amazing job in such a short time… can’t wait to see your new room 😊

I'm so excited for you! I hope you have a great year!! Your room turned out great. I love how calming your classroom seems. I used to do lots of bright colors in my library, but have found that a more minimalistic design suits the space better without being overwhelming. I still love the bright colors and enjoy seeing them in other classrooms, but I've been loving doing a black background with a wood or burlap border. Have a great year!

Yaaaaayy! I love your new room!!! 😍 I was like curious or worried as to how the TV situation was going to work out, are you also still going to use the projector? I saw the remote on your shelf in your small group area! Next, are you still planning on using your Hue Document Camera and your laptop stand? Cause I love those with your nightstand! How do you adjust the whiteboard height on your stand? I’m wanting to DIY my own stand thanks to you and your Luxor whiteboard with wheels 😉 And one last thing: If I have to give an award to someone for having the best teaching space for whole group, I’m going to give that to you! I just still love after 3 years since I started watching you 4 years ago, how small, simple and functional it is!! 😍 Here’s a HOOT! to a BETTER YEARRRRR!

I bought your tpt slides and fixed them to my schedule and I love it! ❤️ I do have a question though, you said you would put pictures of your students for the stations, I did the same and idk if it’s too much but it’s running so slow 😭 and it’s just for a single day presentation :( did you ever have trouble with a whole weekly set loading up? 🥺

I wouldn't feel bad about giving your para a normal table. You may have students that need more physical prompting and the para may prefer to sit next to them instead of in front of them. When I was a para I was thankful for any space I had lol

I have a video of me making it, but originally it was shiny and rose gold. Now it's old and been moved so many times it looks like that! I love that you say it looks wooden!!!!
