Have one. Thought it was trash at first. Was getting like 4-5 hrs of battery life with 30% brightness. But after deleting the Dell partitions and a clean windows install, it’s actually not bad at all. Getting like 9-10 hrs now. Battery drain on sleep mode isn’t bad either. Dropped like 2-3% overnight which is respectable.

I just order this laptop and I am expecting it tommorow..I am stress about battery at the moment cause of many negative reviews..are you sure that this battery trick gonna work ? I mean to delete dell partitions..do you have the uhd version ? Thank u:)

For me simply the best ultrabook for power quality and low weight, this version with Windows 10 Pro and 4K resolution is better even than Mac on 3.5 K

As a programmer, I hate the keyboard layout. Why they move the backslash "\" to the left of letter z? I imagine how frustrating to use it when working on command prompt undoing things (ctrl+z)

What is a Thunderboldt 4 port used for, and how to use a USB external drive on it and also hooking it up to the a monitor or TV without an HDMI port? Just wondering on the cost or what may be available without adding a lot more to the price. The XPS 15 had way too many issues within the first couple of months, so am now considering the XPS 13, but really nervous to buy something so expensive when there seems to be a lot of manufacture issues with the laptops. The XPS 13 seems perfect other than the ports and the risk of getting another Dell lemon.

Getting an XPS 9310 used is a way better option than getting an XPS 9315 new. 2x the performance, and a better design

I have the same model. 2h 15m of battery life when playing RU-vid video at 1080p and 50% screen brightness. Dell battery manager states 100% battery life. I charge the laptop to 80% SOC most of the time to save battery life. What is wrong :/

4k screens use tons of power. You get much better battery with the fhd model

One question: why would anyone buy a UHD instead of FHD until and unless they don't do some hardcore gaming or video editing? I have a YT channel but I don't shoot anything in 4k. It's too time consuming. Am I wrong here? Buying FHD will save me money, less heating and most importantly more battery life..!
