I saw that you did a room tour on the back of the ship. Those have the best balconies - our fave! Miss Disney cruises but we will wait until things are more back to normal.
Do you mean the accessible rooms at the back with the large verandah? We've been in a large accessible stateroom - but then I am a wheelchair user. 🤷 They are lovely, except the water from the shower can get all over the floor, especially in active weather (just ask your steward for towels to dry the floor). Oh, and the balconies have a white wall railing, so you can't see the water if seated (ironic, as those cabins are for WC using guests, who are seated). I think you have to need the accessible features to book those staterooms (and Disney say they may ask for proof). I think if those rooms aren't booked at the last minute, then they are released to able bodied guests.
@@kpl-CA The accessible stateroom we toured was actually midship, and we'll be releasing the tour soon! And yes, you do have to certify that you have need of the accessible rooms to book them :)
@@HereWithTheEars yeah, the position depends on the ship, the floor, Suite, Concierge (or not), just like the railings vary. Our advice, learn the codes & read the descriptions.

Thanks for sharing this with us! I was so excited to see you were going on a cruise. We were to go on the DVC Members Cruise in 2020 to Alaska. Can't wait to cruise again and twice to Castaway is THE BEST!!!
@@HereWithTheEars Unfortunately we cancelled April 2020 because we didn't want to lose out on our refund, so we didn't get the automatic rebooking. Are you going? Members Cruises are the best! I think we had done 4 or 5 in a row at one point.
Hello. I have a question. I m about to reserve my cruise 🚢 Nov 2021. But I am confused about the covid test. I m going from texas so I may get there to the port by uber. So where I supposed to take the test ? Im vaccinated and my kids 13 and 15 are vaccinated . Everyone said. You wait in you car for results. But what about mi on uber ?
The current DCL policy is that everyone must have a negative rapid test to board the ship. If you aren't driving, then they have a large tent you can wait in for your results. Enjoy your cruise!
We're really liking it for the most part! We used it for roughly 75% of the footage on the cruise (not the main shot in the room or the room tours). It's a great little tool for shooting meals and just random stuff around the ship - much less obtrusive than a phone gimbal. The main complaint we'd have is the need to color grade when editing and the struggle it has with overexposing scenes if you leave it on auto settings
