Dude you just convinced me for my next car. I have been looking at this or the SRT even though wife doesn’t want the 700+ horses. So thank you for this review.
It’s a damn shame that dodge is discontinuing the charger and challenger, I still see tons of new ones on the road. A lot of people are not looking forward to only having electric vehicles to pick from in the future.
Lol I just bought one of these from Stetler a bit over a year ago. Never realized watching this the first time, back then, that I went to school with you lol glad things are going well for ya 👊 - Rob G
I just traded in a 2020 Mustang GT for a 2022 Charger Scat Pack. Best decision I ever made. The power of the Charger is unbelievable. I'm currently breaking in the motor and have chirped the rear tires twice without hardly trying. I never chirped the tires on the Mustang in the same way. Being taller and older, I love the space and seat height of the Charger. The only negative was the price. In the current times of inflation and supply chain issues, the dealer wouldn't deal. I had to pay full sticker. Another factor is Mopar isn't making any V-8 autos or trucks after 2023. So get 'em while you can. And as a personal note I would say to Ford, I never liked having a plastic oil pan and drain plug on the Mustang. And if you had put a metal pan and better oil filter on your Explorer ST--an oil filter without THREE(3) O-rings!--I would of bought an Explorer ST.
I have to admit the Scatpack checks a lot of boxes in the family sedan category. This has more useable power than the Hellcat, IMO. It was on my shortlist before I bought my Stinger. There aren't too many naturally aspirated V8 sedans anymore, basically this or the IS500. I salute Dodge, but will probably go with the IS500 or GSF.
@@SoonersR N/A V8, 485hp, RWD, sedan versus N/A, V8, 467hp, RWD, sedan.... they mentioned price a few times but performance wise it makes a great case for the Scatpack. They also did another comparison between the RCF vs. Mustang GT. It comes down to a person's priorities. With the GSF being out of production, the price gap isn't as big
Aside from watching the 15 to 30 seconds of the video. I want the car, but Dude.. You need to temp it up a bit on the man side of things. Smelling a bit estrogenically enhanced. Little less talking please, And hammer accelerator. Want to hear that thing scream some good volume levels. Beautiful car though. Can't wait for mine to come.
