I hope you keep going at it in 2022, I always look forward to your videos coming out especially the Maestro one. Good luck for the future and all the best for a prosperious 2022.
One of my highlights of this year was the van load of Maestro parts I got hold of. I'm pleased that I could help your Maestro. I've enjoyed your videos and they are getting so much better as you progress. It was also a pleasure to have met you in person and your Maestro. I'm looking forward to next year and what that has in store for your projects and channel.
A Happy New Year to you, I also watch your content, of all varieties, and find it entertaining for the most part. Please keep it up, you never know what next year will bring.
Good on you, this was a nice roundup. I appreciate your candour on getting revenue from RU-vid, that can't have been easy. It will come I reckon, your content is fresh and varied with great attention to detail. It isn't easy working and filming outside in Winter, the cold is very good at sapping morale (been there a few times!). This is what sets apart television and RU-vid, if it was a TV program, there would be a researcher, a production crew, sound technican, and a camera operator. Bits would get added in post-production and probably it would be shown to a focus group or two. And there would be jeopardy, lots and lots of made-up deadlines and tension. Whereas, this is you grafting in an honest (and for me anyway) recognisable way, ploughing your own furrow. All the best for the next year and for the challenges and celebrations that it will bring!
Thank you for the lovely comment there. Television is not for the likes of me, I couldn't take that sort of pressure I'm sure. The honesty and graft is what I seek out in other channels too, they're always the most rewarding to watch. Can't be doing with fake jeopardy.
Glad you're going to continue, particularly interested about seeing developments on the Lanchester in 2022, to the extent I'd try to make the effort to come to a show if I knew it was going to be there. I don't want to add to your workload, but I'd like to see one of your diecast restos videoed, I know there are many channels that do that, but I also know what a high standard you deliver.
I'm still trying to figure out a way to record the diecast restos, I'm not sure how the other channels manage it to be honest, it's one of those things where you're constantly in your own way. I'll be sure to announce when the Lanchester is heading to a show, Pat and I really want as many folks as possible to see it and get a proper nose about it once we've got it sorted.
Nice to see an update video, I do enjoy watching this channel!👍 Originally I subscribed because I was enjoying the Princess videos but I'm also really enjoying the Maestro videos and the Lancaster series just as much! Sadly my RU-vid recommendations seem to prefer 10 second videos from 11 years ago rather than a brand new video with hours of work put into it ( A channel called Austin Allegro Agatha talks about the same issue in some of his videos) but I guess thats how RU-vid works sadly :( Looking forward to seeing more videos in 2022!👍
Happy to hear you're enjoying the content! I've been enjoying the Princess vids over on AAA, and the other stuff they do. Always best to subscribe to any channel you like, even if you don't watch everything they make, at least that way you never miss out (hopefully).
