*AUTO HUNTER is my inspiration!!! My mom promised me if I reach 1k SUBSCRIBERS she will buy me a professional editing equipment, PLZ HELP ME GUY.... I am begging u.*
I love the fact that you can get this powertrain on an XL. That’s awesome ford. Not making someone get the more expensive ones to get good fuel mileage
You're not realistically saving any money buying this truck. Any percieved money saved at the pump just hides the fact that you paid $35k minimum for a base work truck.
@@Ya_Boi_Newton perhaps, but it also could be seen like, you were going to buy a truck anyways, so why not this one? It takes the place of both a car and the truck
@@andretsang7337 It really doesn't though. My dad actually got one not too long ago and it's definitely still way expensive at the pump. Not even in the same league as a non-hybrid passenger car.
@@Ya_Boi_NewtonI don’t know man. I’ve owned one for 2 years now. Average price to fuel up a car is around 40-50 bucks these days and gets you 300-350 miles on a tank. I spend about $100 and get around 800 miles to a tank. That’s about 26 mpg, which is completely reasonable in these trucks.
I mean yea I watch the vids cuz of *them* one of the things why is Yuri pulling out a Brent Rambo face everytime they launch a car with less horsepower than 500
@Memo Rios it's the same as takeoff on a huge plane. It's power to weight ratio is terrible by plane standards, but all that weight being moved is enough to make some people throw up.
Congratulations guys. I believe that you're the first automotive review channel to correctly describe the metal finish as knurled. It's a small thing, but I don't understand how so many automotive journalists simply don't know how to describe a metal finish. In Canada we're into the details ( LOL ). Keep up the great reviews guys.
Ford trucks have had that compartment for years. Why do people all of a sudden think they are for guns? It’s a good place for a lot of things. (Including guns😁) Nothing wrong with them.
@@acupofteao3416 The difference is that you can get this very useful drivetrain for $45K...and likely for about $35K once incentives start coming in later in 2021. TRX is very impressive but in the end a halo vehicle few people can afford and even fewer will find it practical for everyday truck use.
@@plmn93 where are you getting these prices from 🤷 most of these options are only available in higher trims which you won't find under 60k no deals in the first year 😂 45k youre getting a basic Ford with minor options
I bought mine back in March. I have the XLT crew cab powerboost with a ton of options. I paid cash on the barrel. $50,600 out the door. I couldn't love this truck more. Buying this was a very smart decision. So many conveniences and the horse power and torque are very impressive.
@@kpemb84 Somebody is buying them, they must either be rich, have saved up for a long time, or are going into BIG debt. I think most of it is big debt.
I think f150 looks great and I wish I can afford one or win one fully loaded of course. Ford did a really good job of staying competitive and they take pride in developing the new f 150. Congratulations Ford.
@@Kevinator1996 they bought one as a long term unit. The check engine light turned on before 200 miles in the odometer. Then cameras failed the same day out of warranty. While in the dealer check engine light came back. Engine was not repairable. JLR gave them a second and screw it installing a winch on it before they even took delivery of it. Now they’re on their third Defender 🤷♂️
Crazy. Back in the 90's I have my little 1993 Tacoma 3.0L V6 and all my Ford and Chevy friends with their city sized big block V8's would joke around with my little *pea-shooter* V6, it was just for fun we all like what we like, but man look at these times today, a 3.5L TTv6 hybrid pushing nearly 600 ft-lbs of torque !!! and we get 400 plus horsepower !!! Wow !!! I still have my little old Tacoma now and it pushes out 392hp and 435 ft-lbs of torque because my friend is a jdm mechanic freak and he added a twin turbo in it from some MK supra he told me and man it moves compared to the snail pace I had before at 150hp and 180 ft-lbs of torque from factory.
That shifter folding flush is just genius. An incredible truck all around, actually, but...yeah, if I'm buying a truck I want to be able to beat the crap out of it doing, you know, truck stuff...this thing, not so much, unless you have unlimited money.
You can build out a lower trim with most of the really cool stuff and it will cost lot less. It will still cost like $50k though so yeah, still not cheap.
@@DanielBlaney Yeah, I'm Canadian as well, just meant regardless of the conversion it's an expensive truck. I'd rather spend $15k for a truck less than 5 years old, with nearly all the same features.
I was considering the Platinum Powerboost but concerned with first run. Bought ( 3 days ago) a 2021 Ram 1500 Sport (Canada trim only) instead with tried and true 5.7 Hemi. The truck has all new tech and love the HUD as well as rear view mirror camera. I’m confident this will be reliable for a long time . The 12” Uconnect is very nice as well. Great reviews guys love them all.
I was following this channel without be subscribed, but this video made me officially subscribed ( and Im subscribed in TFL Truck, the channel he recommended )

#1 concern of any pickup owner is reliability. Not just when new, but ten, twenty years from now. The EcoBoost crap just doesn't cut it. When the 5.0 is gone forget that F150.
The fact that me and another guy liked the video before it haven't even been 5 mins since upload is pure dedication and faith that you guys don't disappoint us!? 😂😂
I had to get out with an bad deal with my old truck. They snuck in an interest rate that i did not agree with. Over doubling my payment on my truck. So I went down to my dealer and gave him an list. What i needed a truck for. He came up with the 2020 F150 ecoboost truck. So not really knowing to much except what was on RU-vid I agreed. So I got it last week. The eco means if all means possible it shuts off the engine at an stop. Now being only gas. Means in using no gas or electric to cost me money. So now i can sit in traffic and not spend a penny. Power and options. The best truck I have ever bought. This truck under what we are going threw makes perfect sense. No more wasting my money waiting in traffic or at an light. Thanks Ford. Job well done.
Don't take this the wrong way, because you guys are still making top-notch videos, but I couldn't finish the video- I was just so uninterested in the F-150. And I really do enjoy reviews of normal cars...
its a reasonable price for a brand new, fully redesigned, top of the line model with gobs of technology advancements, the quality and quantity of everything matches the sticker price
the 3rd gen Honda CR-V also had full reclining front seats. You take the headrests off, the top of the seat perfectly connects to the rear seat bottom forming a bed.
“When your done working with the bois, you can have a nap with the bois” “I blue myself” “When your plugging in your stuff in, with your bois” I’m uncomfortable with the atmosphere that we have created on the highway
Completely different transmissions between there crossovers and pickups. The F150 has always been pretty reliable. That being said, I still wouldn’t own one. I like a more basic truck, V8 engine, lifted substantially, on 35” or bigger tires, that I am not afraid to take off-road or work out of.
Lmfaooooooooooooooooooooo well good old Ford is unable to build FWD-based transmissions... Trade that hideous ass edge for an Explorer for more power, better gearing, more space AND reliability. :)
I would really love for you guys to review the affordable ones (the one that most people will either rent or buy XLT with the 302A package of course or the Lariat) I understand sometimes you get the most expensive version, but let's face it most of your subscriber do not have 100k to spend on these cars maybe talk to ford to lent you review one of those. I will also be expecting later this year the anticipated F150 Tremor review for this summer! Thanks and stay safe.
I think Ford knocked it out of the park!! Sweet truck!! Edit: Did you guys here about the people who owned these trucks in Texas when they were frozen out were very popular with their neighbors? They could charge their phones, use microwaves, power up electric heaters, etc.
Finally someone who confirms the turning radius of these trucks...Its terrible the tundra can cut a turn on a dime compared to these f150's....i was hoping ford fixed this as its the biggest issue when parking and just turning in smaller areas...
The 2021 PowerBoost option with in-bed power, combined with the hybrid and aluminum-heavy construction, is the first truck with enough of a step change to leave my perfectly fine, paid-off '04 Chevy 2500HD. However, the price is staggering for PowerBoost trims, nearly half my mortgage in conservative configurations. I'm ready for green tech in in trucks, but I'm floored that such thoughtful, useful options are so exotic for normal folks.
