Test drove a 2021 Ford Ranger 4x2, Sport today. The color was Oxford white with a dark gray interior. Overall, I thought it was a nice ride. I may go back in a day or two and actually purchase it.
I got the 2021 Lariat Ranger FX4 - Definitely happy with it after installing the leveling kit, raptor grille with lights, tailgate dampener and SmartCap shell.
If this dude paid "almost 50 grand" (when talking about the heated steering wheel) for an XLT Ranger he got completely ripped off. I bought my 20 Ranger Lariat FX4 for 41,000. He should have got it for somewhere in the 30s which isn't anywhere near 50 grand.
The moment I saw this young dude’s haircut, I knew he wasn’t a real truck guy. Let alone with the amount wrist bands on his arm. He complains about a manual seat recline feature, really? Less electronics to go wrong with manual seats. One, who is concerned with fuel mileage, doesn’t drive at 75 mph. Optimal fuel efficiency range is between 50 & 55 mph. This kid needs to drive a Crossover or Sedan. I do, however, agree with him on the rear sliding window not being electric. My money is on him not being satisfied with his future F150. Trucks are not meant to be a luxo barge going to the mall.
I FIND that with the FORD RANGER that it comes in 3 TRIM LEVELS XL,XLT AND LARIAT. IF you want HEATED SIDE MIRRORS YOU HAVE TO GO FOR THE LARIAT. THE TAILGATE just SLAMS DOWN TOO AND I THINK it SHOULD BE DAMPED.
