i read it was an plane inspector called James Kilroy from Massachusetts .. he would draw "kilroy was here" with the eyes and the big nose so it would be harder for workers erase his check of the plane . during production it would usually be covered with shop paint but since the planes were bieng pushed out as fast as possible, alot of his marks were left unpainted.. where soldiers would eventually see them all over different planes

@@aronreyes6375 Great info, that's likely true. The Kilroy moniker also acted as a morale builder for new troops over seas. They would see "Kilroy" and know Americans had been there before them. Other troops likely carried it forward through the years.

Yes, kinda of bummer unless I just didn't hit anything? All the black border cards are basically the same and I got doubles, but I am in love with the Roy Bots and Semi Colin's!

There are 3 chase cards. It says on the back of the box

No I don't think so, GPK cards stopped being stickers a while ago now.

How interesting!? Yeah, I could not find a checklist anywhere. I noticed that C number card for the black border ones. I am not even sure there is a chase, but some sweet cards inside no doubt!

@@JayBobSons I laid all mine out and I think I'm only missing 1. A and b and the artists recreation of older cards, then the c is the artists version of themselves as a GPK. 1a and 1b are the same card with different names like og GPK. Then 1c is Alex pardees self card. 20 artists then 21-31 only have an a and b
