Please call Geely Fairview at 0956-695-6087 for inquiries. I would like to thank Geely Fairview for lending me this car to try for a couple of days. Don't hesitate to contact them for technical and pricing inquiries about the Geely Coolray
So glad to see your thoughts about the Coolray man! I actually own this and its my first car and what can I say? One of the best purchases I did. This car is bang for the buck. I was clearly hesitant at first but when I did my own research and took this sleeper for a test drive, oh boy, I knew this is so much worth it!!
@@KyleLiongCars pretty much yes! What I like about this car that you didn’t highlight enough was the NVH. For me the NVH of the coolray is pretty amazing and underrated.
Very nice Kyle for giving an informative review of the Coolray and for an honest 'comparo' with competitors (ex. Chery Tiggo 7). You even stated in a comment below that this is better than the Honda BR V (gutsy, but I appreciate it :) ). Hope you can also make a review of 'tough' Coolray Chinese brand competitors such as the Ford Territory, Changan CS75, Changan CS35, GAC GS3, and GAC GS4. Kudos Kyle as always :)
Thank you Kyle for this amazing review! You got my subscribe. This is the first time I laughed, shouted and got so excited about a car. This Geely Coolray Sport is really outstanding! I'm considering this now over Honda BR-V. One question though - does it have Hill Start Assist?
You got a new subscriber, hopefully getting the sport limited variant next year, by the way, mind if you do a review with an acceleration with the paddle shifters? I've seen a lot of reviews on RU-vid, but this is very natural. And very informative. Nice Review of the GCR.
Thanks! Acceleration from a standstill using the paddles doesn’t really change acceleration rate. It’s only when doing a rolling pull that the paddle shifters make a difference as you can manually downshift
Amazing car. Outstanding reviewer. I ought to sue RU-vid for not recommending your channel earlier. One question : Does it require premium gasoline? And what would happen if I feed it regular? Thank you 5 6er from Saudi Arabia.
Thanks haha another amazing compliment. It does require premium. If you don’t use premium, it will still run ok, but it could cause the fuel to unintentionally ignite and the engine to knock thereby reducing power and fuel economy. In short, the money you saved on regular just gets eaten away by way poorer fuel economy, so stick to premium :)
I find the Coolray's overall design more bold and striking than the Azkarra. It's just a lot more good-looking IMO. Engine-wise, I'll give it a pass given its relatively compact size. It's an overall great package. I do like a comparo between this and the Ford Territory, its direct competitor for 2021. Anyway, great video Kyle! 👍
Personally, I'd agree that the Coolray looks sleeker, but I prefer the elegant subdued lines of the Azkarra, and not to mention its Nappa leather interior. I'd love to make a comparo too, but not sure if Ford would lend me a Territory haha
Dang, watched a lot of reviews from other car reviews sa pinas pero yours does all the details without being boring or cringy as well as less time. I was still undecided on whether to get this, ecosport, tiggo7, hyundai kona or the seltos. The only thing I don't like here is the sunroof cover but everything else I like the Coolray compared to the other competitors in its price segment.
Hi Kyle Liong, i have 2 questions which need your advise. Which one has a more spacious back seat? Coolray or Emgrand? And also which one has more headroom?
Kyle if you may recommend for me w/c is better buy between ford territory vs geely coolray , im actually zeroing my choice between the said 2 cars. Hoping for your prompt response..,Tyvm
@@KyleLiongCars nice review. Hope you do the comparo between the MGGT and empow. Sana makita din kita magreview haha I think we are in the same village. Ata.
Suggestion for a women single like me.. and likes to drive alone mostly long drives would you prefer ford territory titanium or coolray sports .. i need an insights thanks guys!!
What’s ur opinion against competition and pricepoint with the new limited coolray’s power lift gate, black rims, driver and passenger seats ventlilation and thicker sunroof cover (+20K) ?
If you're looking for a low to the ground feeling car, 4 wheel drive, adaptive cruise control, and Apple Carplay, then get the Subaru XV. Otherwise, personally I think the Coolray ticks the same boxes that the XV already does for less
@@KyleLiongCars I drive 18Km on highway and nearly 6 to 7km on city roads to work and back home daily (Cruise control on highway and ECO mode always ON) The car is still new, less than 1 month, and wondering if I need to wait for my 1st service to get better mileage 🤷🏻
@@KyleLiongCars 95 Octane, and cruise control at 115, and sometimes 90 depending on speed limits. Few days here and there I don’t use the cruise control too. 1st week I got 5.5km/L, 2nd week achieved 6.6Km/L and finally came closer to 8.2Km/L with super careful driving to save petrol.
@@KyleLiongCars maybe i drove a bad rush haha! The one i tried had ultra stiff suspension yet flex-y body and chassis, resulting to poor overall handling and comfort
@@KyleLiongCars Recently found myself entertained by watching car reviews. sayo and kay senpai stanley ng philkotse yung aliw yung reviews, may sense and quality yung video. yung iba kase cringe mag review and madilim yung video. skl keep it up lodicakes new subscriber here
Two armfuls of groceries and you can’t even reach the button to open the tailgate haha! If it had that kick under the tailgate function then it would be a game changer. Otherwise it’s a meh feature that is slow, may just be another thing that breaks, and annoys me when I use it as a chase car cause it keeps beeping at me hahaha
