I agree. I just bought a 2021 GMC Sierra Denali Black Carbonpro addition. I am in love with the look of the GMC Denali. But the interior of the Ram is pretty nice indeed. I'll probably have buyers remorse in a year when GMC puts the 12" screen from the Yukon into the Sierra in 2022 :)
@@Kiddro22 you right about the gmc suvs for 2021 but the pickups still got the same interior. I believe they are going to change it to the new design with the 2022 models.
Yo that interior is straight out of a 90's station wagon.........sans the screen. But this is the truck that made me want to buy a pick -up again. I followed the top three trucks around for weeks & the Ram won me over. When I saw the inside & drove it it sealed the deal.....besides Hemi goes brmmmm.
But that gas mileage- and when the RAMS get 15 MPG and this almost doubles that- and when gas hits $4,00 and higher and when we will have "fake" gas shortages- diesel usually can always be found. The inside is ugly however but not terrible
Awesome Truck! I love the Exterior of the Sierra especially the Front End, my favorite feature of the Sierra is the Multi Pro Tailgate and Camera Views because you can look inside the Trailer. The GM Trucks will definitely be on par with Ram and the F-150 once they add Super Cruise and an Updated Interior for 2022, Great Video Ben!
That is really a nice truck..... I think some of your viewers might be annoyed about how I’m always commenting that RAM is the best so I’m not gonna say it this time.... i’m not gonna say how it’s the best looking, best performing, nicest truck out there...
@@Oneshawdog89 I’m on new ram number seven and have never had one issue with the transmission ever! In fact not one of those rams was ever in the shop other than for recalls which were all minor..
@@Oneshawdog89 That was more of a 4th gen and previous issue, at least on the 1500's. Haven't heard any issues at all with the current updated 8 Speed ZF tho.
You're so right tho dude. I've had a '19 Ram 1500 Laramie V6, traded it in to get my mother a '20 Ram 2500 Big Horn Night Edition V8 to pull horses, and now ordered a '21 Ram 1500 Limited EcoDiesel, can't wait to get it. I've driven them all tho, I traded in my mother's '18 Ford F-150 Lariat Sport Special Edition (she wanted a Ram after she saw mine) with the Coyote 5.0 V8; and the engine was lackluster, the trans gear hunts, and the interior was designed by Fisher Price, the '21's look barely any better. As for GM, our buddy just got a brand new Silverado 1500 Custom and he is pretty disappointed, he wants a Ram now too, lol. Ram has the best interiors, the best tech, they're the safest according to the IIHS, best V8 option by far (the 5.7 Hemi is so smooth), a great Gas V6, and imo the best diesel for a half ton light duty.
If you're willing to remove the nice noises that the 6.2 makes, this truck will be great with that diesel once the digital dash and updated interior is released in 2022 (or 2022 1/2 with covid delays).
Like this truck as well. Have a 2020 High Country coming from F150 Limited, really not disappointed at all. the technology, power and easy of use. Nice review Ben..
Great review. If I were wanting to tow less than 8000 lbs, which would be better, the Duramax or the 6.2 V8? I know that the V8 can go up to 12000 but I'm looking for better/easier NOT max towing. Thanks.
Ok nice review. Now let get down to business. 1/2 ton trucks are now pulling out of baby diesel style, except GM and GMC. What the long term verdict on 1/2 ton diesel trucks. Owners please fill me in. Been waiting on the side line for a 1/2 ton diesel truck. Don’t need 3/4 ton for me 1/2 ton will do but I want diesel.
Ford and Chevrolet offer a power down and power up tailgate. I wonder when GMC will offer it. It’s kinda odd they don’t because Chevy and GMC are GM products.
You give the weight capacity of the tailgate step, but I would be interested in the spec of the side power steps. 375 isn’t much of you have two big guys getting in at the same time (front and back).
Nice to see they improved the backup camera quality on GM's 2021s. I would say wait though, 2022 gets a refresh on the exterior and a full redesign on the interiors. Can't wait to get my '21 Ram 1500 Limited EcoDiesel tho, it blows the brand new Ford and current GM's out of the water.
Have they fixed the problems with the regen not working in winter-40 in Canada Def fluid freezes and won’t regen then it has to go to the dealership ✌️✌️🇨🇦🇨🇦
You can spec an At4 to have all the same features as the Denali. Seats will have different accents, 18” wheels for off road, 2” lift, less chrome and the ride will be a bit bouncier on the highway depending on the type of road. As for the diesel you will lose maybe 1 mpg highway with nothing noticeable city or dirt road.
