Let me just clarify about CV angles. Without Liftkit install, CV angles are 4Deg on ground and 17.8Deg on full droop. Once kit is installed, CV angles change to 10.5Deg on ground and 23Deg on full droop. All these angles are within range. In extreme cases, it is so difficult to relate conditions and consequences thereof. On slow crawl it takes all that is thrown at it.🙏 I compliment to Manuj for taking time out to publish such videos. It helps other more than one realises. Keep up the good work.👍
Thank you for taking out the time and showing us all you special Gurkha again! Thank you for collating and sharing all the useful information which will help a lot of Gurkha owners!
Force Motors should give AJAY ji a five door for free just so he can showcase how far you can take a machine like this without breaking the bank, I doff my hat to u sir best of luck on your journeys god bless 🙏
Excellent review!! It's wonderful to note that he was kind enough to share the changes done in his vehicle, as the lift kit it's specs, tyre specs,,the inner gadgets, the utility specs needed for long trips. 👌👌👌👍🏻
Great build by him! 👍🏻 But should provide links in the description for the equipment used like the lift kit, tyres, gps etc. So we can check them out as well 🙏🏼
I loved what he has done on the inside, very thoughtfully done. Quick question, is the 2024 suspension setup backwards compatible with the older model? I am just asking cuz that would be a better solution (although much more expensive) than going for the lift kit . Not sure if this is true but I have heard on the long run a lift kit takes it's toll on the suspension.
No one would need to completely change the front end. Mounting points are also different. Its not as simple as a swap. In this video that is what Ajay ji has tried to express- that the below 50 mm lift kit keeps the Gurkha CV angles within operating limits and there should be no harm to the CV or suspension in the short or long term. 🙂
@@IndianOverlander Oh. I wish it was reverse compatible, would have helped older owners too. But yes, doing it right takes precedence over compatibility. The impact I was referring to was more to the struts and springs. I don't own a SUV, never have. My understanding comes from the fact that BG lift kit basically uses spacers for the lift and from my experience with spacers (don't ask 🤣) it has adverse effects. May be its different with bigger vehicles. I am sure Mr. Ajay knows what he is doing, so I will take his word for it. I have very limited knowledge about it to begin with 😅
great work shrimaan ji , pahle bhi bahut accha video tha aapka , pros cons bataiye 3 , 5 door 2024 gurkha , , 3 door gurkha bhi review kijiye , next vlog

Have you discuss with him regarding installation of automatic clutch kit because I think it will help in ease of driving effort especially at his age and also for you in city traffic
Sir what's the mileage we can expect on-road and off-road. In one video you used liqui moli anti-friction liquid to improve the mileage. After using what is the mileage you are getting and before what mileage you got.
Actually smoothness in the engine i did feel. Have not checked the mileage as vehicle AC is always on and its standing idling like that also long for durations. When i go for a trip i will get a better idea. You can expect 10 to 11 kmpl in city and 12 on highways
Bhai ji i am using petrol vehicle really like gurkha but i am of afraid of diesel engine my monthly running is also low want gurkha for touring any extra care as compared to petrol engine? Plz guide
@@jatinduggal6146 there is a higher maintenance cost as services are more frequent than petrol vehicles. Also the AdBlue addition is an additional cost in daily running.
Manuj Bhai, can you please advise 1) where can I get the Khukri badge for my new Gurkha? I want: - big one for the centre of front grill - one on the steering wheel - five for the centre of five tyres 2) which Dash cam is recommended? Ajay sir has multiple cameras for different use. I just need front and back coverage. Both 70mai and Garmin have multiple variants available. My requirements are, clarity of pic, with number plate capture. 3) Steering wheel cover looks awesome on Ajay sir' Gurkha. Is it a specific brand or choices are available in the market?
I have made a video about the Logo's. Please do watch it in my video list. It has all the info. I will ask him about the steeeing cover and get back to you. I have very limited knowledge of Dash cams brother. Can't help you there 🙏🙂
Manuj Bhai, 1) decided to go for Qubo dash cam along with their tyre inflator. It's our Indian brand, better reviews in terms of durability and on par in terms of video quality/clarity and features etc. 2) Khukri logo badge - am in Bangalore so got to look for a place/vendor to design/cut per my dimensions ask. 3) steering wheel cover, will go to JC road (place in Bangalore where all car related accessories are available). Will check options and get the best that suits the look and feels good plus firm. Will send you shots.
The difference between Gurkha enthusiasts And Thar is that Gurkha users know what and why they are buying it, meanwhile most of the Thar users follow Showoff mentality
