Okay, so what I did was download a song on my computer (you could do the YT to MP3 converter if that's what you normally do and it works fine) and then I uploaded it to a folder in Google Drive. I also have the google drive app on my iPhone, so after it finished uploading, I opened the app on my phone and saved the mp3 file to my phone (in Files). You could probably just connect your phone to you computer with the cable, but I was too lazy to get up at the time lol.

I really didn’t want to have to get on my computer and go through the process of downloading the song on there, converting it to the correct file type, and transferring it to my phone via iTunes. Thank you so much for showing this alternate method!

Wow! This worked perfectly even for an old geezer like me. Years ago I had an android phone with a ringtone I just loved. The phone eventually went away along with the ringtone. Today I found that old ringtone on the web and installed it on my iPhone using this method. Works perfectly! Thanks so much!

Hey, sorry just wanna say that the file that I just saved from my gallery to my files, it went into the browse file and idk why I can’t click on it or bring it to the recent file to drag it into the app. Do you have any idea of how to fix it?
That is not true. I had ios 14.8 and when I tried to download the free garage band app, I got a pop up saying that you must have iOS 15 or better. If I am wrong, let me know

I’m no expert on the subject(hence me watching this video) but you should be able to record any sound into GarageBand itself or if you have a recording you should be able to use that audio or convert it to an mp3. I hope this helped!
If your having trouble finding somewhere to download the music to your files, just screen record while listening to your song of choice, and then save the video to your files. You should be able to do this same procedure

Did this on my old iPhone XR but haven't had that phone in almost 2 years now so completely forgot how to do it. I have an iPhone 13 now and wanted to do this on it so thank you very much for this video. Very helpful. My coworker loves to tease me about a song I enjoy so I'm gonna put that as my ringtone and text tone so that song will be blasting each time I get a call/text. Best part is I work with him the most so he'll have to hear it every time I get a text/call. Lol.

For the record bars/measures depend on the bpm (beats per minute) usually a bar is just four beats but some songs have different time signatures (beats per minute) F.e. in a song with 60 bpm a beat is every second but a song with 120 bpm has a beat every half second (2x as fast) Therefore @ 60 bpm a bar is every second but @ 120 bpm a bar is every second. However many songs are much faster at around 100 bpm (which is really only slightly slower than 120 bpm) If you don’t want the song to sound slow, put down the right bpm, and if you want to control how long it is (for example just to record the chorus) then count how many bars it is. Sorry for being overly complicated

Hey may I know how to set the song whole ringing without looping the same first lyrics again. It’s cutting the lyrics in half and again coming to the start lyrics.. it’s not pretty to hear.. please help me. I will be grateful.
