Hello, how are you? I have got one question I am doing professional year program and once i get the completion letter i will get degree assessment. Professional year points expires in 3 years. Professional year also works as skill assessment for students who dont have 1 years experience in their occupation but once our PY expires we definitely lose 5 points but then how can I do skill assessment after 3 years because we can never go for any general skill visa without skill assessment? If anyone can help me out with this

Hi Lauren, I worked as a network administrator from 2011 to 2013 (i.e 2years exp) then joined new organization as a designation DCG agent (2013-2015 i.e 2yrs experience)and later designation changed to desk side support representative (2015-2019 i.e 4 years experience) . will I be eligible for ICT Support Engineer\ any other points. Moreover, Since 2019 I am working as a Designation QA professional (software tester) i,e 3 years of experience. Total experience= 11 years.

I want to asses my degree and work exp but the problem is my first employer have me salary in cash other than that I have all docs. I have total 5+ yrs of exp as a software engineer. Is there any way I can also include that 1.8 yrs of exp where I was paid in cash.

Hello Sir, I have a query Reg. ACS Skill assessment which will expire on 11 May 2023. My new application brings my old assessed details and documents which I can not delete or edit. In my case, I have assessed an experience 2 years ago with a work experience certificate, which doesn't clearly state hours worked, DD/MM/YYYY, and employer's email address. and that will not fulfil the requirements according to the new guideline. I am not able to delete that letter and if I upload a new document, it will be mismatched with the old one. Please give me a suggestion. There are no changes in my Education or Experience. Extremely helpful video! I have a question and hoping you might be able to answer it. I am going for the Web Administrator occupation on the list for my visa. I have a Bachelors degree in Digital Media (not from Aus) but 1/3 of the course was Computer Science modules (all the main CS modules you can think of, including web development and web design, plus other technical digital media modules) ..So basically 2/3's of the course was technical and the remainder was media theory. In the guidelines, it says to meet the ICT Major criteria, the bachelor degree is deemed as having a major in computing if at least 33% of the qualification is ICT. Am i right in saying I will be under the ICT Major and closely related category? Or would it be unrelated, as the degree title is Digital Media? Thank you.

Hello mate, I have a query with respect to skills assessment, I have a positive skills assessment for 263111: Computer Network and Systems Engineer. I have only submitted my professional year and master's documents for this assessment. I have recently completed 1 year in my occupation which matches the responsibilities for 263111. So my question is, should I apply for an assessment again to claim work exp points? or will the old assessment will be just fine. I realised that I made a mistake for one of my employment entries where I doubled it and I can’t delete the 2nd entry. How do I fix this or any workarounds? New registration maybe?😊

I am planning to do a skills assessment from the ACS for ANZSCO code 261111 - ICT Business Analysts, which is closely related to my current occupation. However, even though the job description of the ANZSCO code 261111 - ICT Business Analysts perfectly matches my duties and responsibilities, my title in the government is "Assistant Director (ICT)". Can that be assessed against the given ANZSCO code or will it be a problem? If so, what can I do about it?

I made a 2 year course French BTS in International Trade and I will do a top up year for a bachelor in Business, Major in Business Intelligence and Information System. Great content! There are mainly 4 applications types in ACS. I have Australian degree & did "Post Australian Study Skills Assessment"( with PY no Aus work experience then) after my Professional year. During my PY and TR visa I also worked in relevant field of IT for 1+ years. My "Post Australian Study Skills Assessment" is now expired (as it was done 2 years ago). I need to apply for a new application(no renewal option) but I am confused which application type I should select - 1.Post Australian Study Skills Assessment or 2.Skills (general application) ? The main reason being - I want to get points for Australian work experience as well as assess my skills. Any idea ??

My query is that the course, i.e., Master of Business Analytics at Macquarie University, Sydney, is not accredited by ACS (Australian Computer Society) compared to the same course from other Australian Universities. So, afterward, the student completing the Master of Business Analytics from Macquarie University comes and gets their degree accredited by ACS, will it be accredited? Coz I got my result today and it says unsuitable. “Your ICT skills have been assessed as unsuitable for migration on under ANZSCO Code 261112 (Systems Analyst). The following qualifications do not meet the ACS suitability criteria: Your Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Lyceum of Alabang completed April 2018 has been assessed as comparable to an AQF Diploma with a Major in computing Your Diploma of Systems Analysis and Design from Warwick Institute completed October 2021 has been assessed as comparable to an AQF Diploma with a Major in computing .”

Does the ACS accept a UK 1 year masters degree to be of 'Bachelor degree or higher'? Their guidance 2.4.1(c) mentions at least 1.5 years of full time study for post grad qualifications.
