Completely agree on all points.. after taking it twice to the Himalayas.. it is a no nonsense vehicle. Bullet proof: 1. Engine 2. Gearbox 3. Suspension These get imported from Thailand and are of very good quality.. there are some vehicles done close to 3 lakh kms and no issues. Total peace of mind..

We have a mux in our family and it really is the the no nonsense car it lacks features but other than that it's fantastic

Might be they wanted to keep the engine simpler to reduce the maintenance and improve the life.

@@torqconverter What google doesnt tell you is that both the companies share a lots of the parts, almost all critical parts be it major engine components, electricals etc. At heart both are same and so is there approach to the Indian market, lots of electronic, sharp and aggressive looks. Talking about the engine, keep aside the KIA Carnival, rest all the KIA cars have the same engine from their Hyundai Counterparts. And what he meant in the video is cars one or two segment below have more features than the MUX. He never said Hyundai Seltos, he said cars from hyundai, seltos, creta. Its better to understand what is meant from the statement and what is the sense of the statement.
