Hello Jeremy. Good quick tour video of the newly released fifth generation Jeep Grand Cherokee L. I'm glad the one in this video is the Overland trim. That's the trim level I want to get. I'm not sure if these two features are standard on the Overland trim, but if they're not standard on this trim I know they're optional. These features would be the hands free foot activated lift gate and night vision camera. In general regardless of trim levels this fifth generation Jeep Grand Cherokee L is a nice SUV. It took Jeep quite some time to design this 5th generation Jeep Grand Cherokee L, but as we can see the long wait for the 5th generation is worth it because both the exterior and interior looks great! Also, the third row seating area isn't a penalty box or "The Mother-in-law row" in this vehicle. Air vents, cup holders and USB/USB-C ports are back there. After I test drove this Jeep few days ago I decided to sit in the third row. It wasn't bad. I'm 5'9" and I had good headroom in the third row. With the second row of seats all the way back and not reclined, my knees were not touching the back of the second row seats. I had between 2.25 to 2.5 inches of space left. However, while I sat in the third row my feet did in fact touch the second row of seats, but at the same time it wasn’t a problem because all I did was move up the second row of seats slightly to have space for my feet. While I drove it few days ago it didn't feel like a third row seating SUV which is good. The drive was nice n smooth and the trim level I drive wasn't one of the top tier trims. The Limited trim was the one I test drove due to availability. Right outta gate there are six trim levels to choose from. Those trim levels will be the base tier trim to high tier trim which includes the Laredo, Altitude, Limited, Overland, Summit and Summit Reserve. I currently have the third generation Jeep Grand Cherokee and I have intentions on getting this fifth generation Jeep Grand Cherokee L. However, I'm not going to get the first year of this new generation though. I'll get the second year of the new generation so that it'll give me more time to put some money aside for it and also by that time couple more standard features will get added. When the time comes for me to get it I'll get it in the Overland trim nicely equipped with the legendary 5.7 liter HEMI V8 engine. On the outside I will also get the roof with that gloss black color. If anyone is looking for a mid-size third row seating SUV to buy they should have this one on their list.
@@aaronwilson5978 apples to apples not a $10k difference - also which ones have height adjustable suspension, massaging seats, night vision, HUD, 19 speaker sound package, v6 engine, standard tow? This vehicle was born during the pandemic and vehicle shortage, why wouldn't they ask for more money than some of the older products that have been out for years and are stale?
