Today I drive and review a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo X! Jeep Inventory: www.lhmchryslerjeep.com/ My Car Build/Mod Channel: / @tronautolab Second Channel: / @thebenhardyshow Instagram: ben_hardypl Facebook: @benhardycar
I have a altitude package and my wife has a Laredo X they are exactly the same except for the black out package. Identical interiors. The Laredo X is a really good trim for what it comes with.
Buying the last year of a car before a completely new version comes out means you get a version that has had the bugs worked out of it. Plus, you can usually get a good deal on them, as a lot of buyers will be waiting for the next new thing. You'll miss out on the new styling, and perhaps some more important updates, but I think the pros outweigh the cons.
My thoughts exactly. Might have to swoop one of these for a daily when the new generation hits. I just hope the factory isn’t lethargic about building these for so long that they’ve gotten sloppy haha.
I had a 2007 grand Cherokee loradeo liked a lot. Sold it went with another car manufacturer but after 3 years of missing having a Jeep I am planning on going back to it in a few months.
I actually leased the 2019 and it is exactly the same. I’m planning on keeping it Bc I barely drive it and it’s actually a quite nice car, spacious and comfortable ride.
@@juliagulia5277 probably 380-400 with everything rolled in. depends on state. I considered a 2018 laredo and was quoted 386 with everything rolled in. that was for a base model though. also prices of vehicles are going up, so it might be closer to 420 - 430.
Can you please do a video on a 2021 green metallic V8 grand Cherokee Trailhawk? I ordered a 2020 back in September and now my local dealer is telling me that it got pushed into the 2021 production line and that it will be close to Thanksgiving before they receive it. Also I believe that I will not get the interior metal package that I selected on the 2020:( Thank You for your videos!
Great video Ben! I purchased the exact Jeep yesterday. FYI: A Premium Lighting Group is a option. $995 Automatic High-Beam Headlamp-Control BI-Xenon HID Headlamps Front LED Fog Lamps LED Daytime Running Headlamps
My mom had a 2016 grand Cherokee disel she loved it got rid of it got a 18 wrangler Moab hated it sold it now has a highlander and she loves it she always says she wishes she never got rid of her grand Cherokee it was such a reliable car
Just bought the 2022 version - one of the last ones = 2022 Grand Cherokee WK. There are only 3 versions - Laredo X E trim, Laredo X Altitude trim, and Laredo X Limited trim package. The Jefferson North Plant is to be reset at the end of February 2022. I just bet that this is the best vehicle I will ever own, after all it is the 11th year of production, and all bugs have been addressed. Based on a Mercedes design.
Only way I’d get newer Grand Cherokee cause of what people call miles is if I can trade it for Trailhawk model although I am up there at 100k almost we’ll see cars with no problems started should be kept at first
Good review. This is not the base model. For 2021, the Laredo is the base, the Laredo X is one above. This vehicle does not have cooled seats. Nor is that optional. Lastly, did you answer the question in your title, or did I miss that?
this guy and all others forget to show a very key feature which is the ability to change all features such as which doors open with the fob; silent alarm; adjusting time of the on/off engine feature and adjusting the steering wheel from luxury, to sport to normal all with the touch of a finger
Yes. For 2021 they brought back the Laredo X model and that model offers the Altitude package. Weird way of doing it but it’s basically the same as the prior Altitude Models.
@@rondalrymple8365 genuinely disappointed with Jeep not even bothered changing/updating anything. Let alone they switched from dual to single exhaust... smhh
Don't be fooled!!. I sell these and it is just a marketing gimmick. The Laredo X is the same thing as what the JGC Altitude has been for years. Most of them come jammed up from the factory with all the options they can put into them. They just changed the naming so it went in line with the Limited. Where you have the appearance package of the Limited X. So now you have a Laredo, Laredo X, Limited, Limited X...... Where before you had the Altitude in place of the Laredo. Nothing has changed.
@@donknicker8110 Not really Don. It all depends on what you want them to have for options and what kind of exterior style you would like for them to have. Thats all.
@@etorres No not really. If it is maybe a few hundred dollars. Most of the ones I have seen come through have been jammed up with all the options. Might as well go with the Limited unless you just want the looks.
Does the Laredo X come with remote start like the altitude? I'm looking to buy the Laredo X but now I'm noticing some of the features I want are missing
I've never seen a GC that wouldn't climb a tree. For Safety and go-go anywhere anytime , everyone knows . There is none better. In my job you can't call off. They tell you the low down before they even hire you. So pick your options carefully . I've seen a ton of people get the ax just for this one reason. Weathers too bad . Terminated. Subaru's are great cars , but not in deep snow they ain't. Pick wisely !!!!!!! Peace.
Looks almost like my 2016 JGC. I thought the 2021 model was going to be the big reveal for the new styling...guess I was wrong. This style still looks good but its sooooooooooo old and still way overpriced. I bought my 2016 in 2018 and by then it had lost almost half its value due to depreciation.
It’s not on this trim, the srt hood is on the limited x and it had the larger more aggressive grill with led lights. The high altitude had the front end but no srt hood
I bought mine in 2015 and this 2021 model is 98.5% identical to mine. Jeep must be making a killing by selling the exact same chassis and minor body updates. If anyone buys a JGC Limited or Laredo and pays more than $30K, you’re wasting a lot of hard earned money.
Why give up when they sell almost 250K of them a year ? Once you drive one you would understand why they sell. I have a 2017 Limited and I love it. Its smooth, quiet, comfortable, good steering and breaking. Great for a long road trip and for in town.
