Our daughter graduated college with a degree in Ag Ed. Couldnt find a job so she went to work for a John Deere dealer selling parts. Now she works for USDA helping farmers with their farm program paperwork...... She really enjoys it...
What a beautiful setup ! I’m sure that in addition to traction, the tracks main function is to distribute the tractor’s weight over a larger area so you’re not compressing the soil so much. Congratulations Laura and Grant !!

I started watching you in March 2021. When I started cancer treatment. Along with some others. To help pass the time and get me through some tough times. Been amazing watching you and Grant come along in that time. I went back to your first ever vid and been trying to catch up from day one. I’m so sorry to hear about papa. It’s now dec 16 th and still trying to catch up to present day but am cancer free and in recovery which is slow. But just wanted to comment to share my story and will catch up to the present day soon.
Two years ago, I had no clue about farming... now I'm following two of the most awesome Farm RU-vidrs out there in Laura and Cole. Love both of your channels and enthusiasm. You young people on the farms give me hope. Keep up the good work and happy anniversary. Also, it is so cute to see you two get so excited about farm equipment.
I find it amazing that the corn you planted in this short video my granddad would be spending a week planting . Engineering and technology has grown so much. Thank you for sharing. I started my career in product testing with John Deere way back when the first front fold planters were being introduced. I was even involved with testing the first blower to be used with vacuum meters. Over the years, I worked with the engineers and suppliers for many of the components on Max Emerge planter units. It is very interesting to see further development of some of those parts but how some are relatively unchanged. Your videos as well as some of the other farming videos on RU-vid help me stay connected to the farming scene in general and John Deere products specifically. Keep up the good work.

Happy 1 year! Really enjoy your enthusiasm towards farming and learning the everyday grind. I'm sure you have probably discussed this but just in case you haven't. You all really need drone footage with these giant machines in action. Just saying it would look spectacular. It also would really show the giant spaces with the endless acres you guys have to cover. I love playing with my drones and just sayin, but I enjoy this either way.
Happy Anniversary!!!! That tractor and planter is so cool. My first memory of a corn planter was a New Idea 2 row pulled by a International "H' with a whopping 16hp going maybe 2 mph. To watch this rig planting 24 rows at 9 mph is just amazing. Keep the videos coming. Love them all. Way cool! John Deere didn't want to be outdone by the Fendt/Horsch demo and gave you their best to demo? You get a whole lot of clicks to your channel so this is great advertising for these equipment manufacturers and dealers and you also put a nice shiny happy face to it all to boot! It's a win-win! If I had something good to sell, I'd sure want the same to promote it too! I'm so happy that things are looking so bright for you and your family! You deserve it! Does the RX with the treads ride smoother and less bumpy than a wheeled tractor? By the video it sure looks like that it does ride smoother because those long tracks do not fall into the holes and ruts like wheels do? People out there really do like others who are happy bright and cheerful like you, Laura. This is why I love your channel and it is good entertainment to boot and I love to learn how things work. The media sure loves to build up people such as yourself and then rip them apart and tear them down which is disgusting and I'll never understand why they like to do that, other than they like to create something, exploit it for all that it's worth and then when people lose interest in it they tear it down just to make people look at it again as they exploit it/milk it all for all the money that they can out of greed. Your making people happy will eventually attract more trolls out there who will try to take swings at you to take you down, especially competitors. It's human nature, unfortunately. Nice equipment. Kind of hoping you would get into No Till or Strip Till. The Planter...only thing that I do not like is not having tire in the rear to haul on the road. They are fine in the field but I think there will be alot of wear and tear on those tracks if moving equipment frequently. Nice to see women in farming and young generation getting started with some assistance. Good to see you nearing your RU-vid targets as well. 🍁👍😎
