Excellent video thank you for showing the soft doors and how they work and fit. I will be adding the doors and upgrade to those tires when the stock tires wear out.I really love my 2022 Pro MX EPS it is an excellent machine.
As far as the stock rims aren't they different widths for the front and rear therefore if you used the same width tire front and rear the actual tire sizes would be off? I haven't seen a squared set up from the factory for the little Mules. Thanks...
They are wider wheels in the rear, but as you can see in the video, nothing you can tell, you run different tire pressures F to R. so this has 9psi from and 11psi rear, your pressure may very based on your use and loads.
hello john, love all your builds. i dont know why i dont see more trail rides that includes pro series mules driving along side can ams and polaris’s. anyway, i digress. my question, i have a 2018 mule pro fxr with a bracket lift. would love to put the tensor regulator 28x10-12 on all 4 corners on my stock 12” alloy rims but you or someone else replied to a past thread stating 10’a are fine on all corners but cannot rotate tires and wheels from front to back.. is this the same case for the fxr?
Yes, same case, most all OEM's use a staggered wheel set up from the factory. If you wish to rotate wheels, bump up to a 14" wheel, same wheel and tire all 4 corners in a 4+3 offset (then you don't need spacers, unless you want the tires past the body for more stance) and get the 28x10x14 Tensors OR a plethora of choices of other tires as well for your terrain. Sorry, we hope to bring trail ride videos in the future, something we would love to do but no time to do it.
Is the stock rims the same width for the back and front, I know stock tires for the front is 25-8-12 and rear is 25-10-12, I'm really wanting to go to 28in tires on my stock wheels, I have the le with aluminum wheels
No they are staggered widths, but will fit the 10" wides front and back just fine. Only issue with running stock wheels is you can not rotate them front to rear.
Not really at all. We are at 7,000ft elevation in the Rockies. Most everyone even goes higher and has no issues at all. Honestly, they should come with 27s stock, if you ask me.
Now that you have the Elka shocks for the Pro MX. What would be the total advantage on this exact setup? Probably going to wait until next year for the 28" tires. And possibly the stage 1 Elka's you sell. Maybe another good video for ya!
Adding our shocks, to the MX really makes a new machine, so it would gain some lift and gain more wheel travel and the ride is amazing! We should add the SATV front arms and do some 30s and even ecu flash and it would blow away some sport sxs's
I like the MX just wished they offered a larger cargo area the same as the FX should be option, for it , dont see why not wheel base is long enough, actually would look better too as now the tire is at end of body as sits now. Hester edition larger cargo bed option what you think Folks good idea ?
I have a base coming in a week...I see people talking about super atv power steering can be added... But their website doesn't say anything about the mx?? Advise? Also how much power did those 28's rob?
@@HesterEdition well I seen there wasn't an option and I also just found out that they use KYMCO motors and that just doesn't sit with me so I cancelled the order. I have since placed an order for the new Defender HD 7 DPS in camo.... Seems like that should be a great machine with the new motor and clutch design.... hopefully!! Lol
John Hester I need help in locating the turn signals that are mounted on mule pro FX in the oversea models, nice set up looks factory way better than any offered in continental US they mount directly via u clamp around roll bar just at the cowel windshield area . Check out the UK models you will notice, way better than common ones found in US. let me know if you can order them
As far as that not available on the US. You would have to buy all the parts from an over seas dealer and have them shipped. Run the Ryco set up, super nice, check out our Mule playlist to see lots on there.
I own the same unit, with the same configuration, plastic roof not steel. I am very disappointed with the lack of seal between the roof and roll cage. It is wide open and allows for cold air to enter making the extremely cold here in MN. Has Kawasaki addressed this? Did you guys notice this issue?
Sorry I missed this, was on another comment. I have not used the steel roof so I can not comment on that. I know everything they show for the cab is with the plastic roof.
For the MX? Oh yes for sure can. KFI is our favorite brand, can run a 66" blade with ease. Use a Winch to raise and lower, and can have with or without push button angle kit.
@Ron Bowers a Winch, you will use the Winch to raise and lower. A 66" is best on this unit. You. An also add the hydraulic angle kit to it as well, pricy but if you don't want to get out there is the option 👍
We wish we could, maybe in the future. We are going to be developing our HesterEdition Elkas for the Mule tgat will make a big difference, spring-summer 21.
None. We have done just about every mx we sold like this since fall of 18 when they came out and not 1 issue. One rancher has close to 15k miles on his mx too, 3rd set of 28s.
They are 0* camber rear and -1* on the front, 100% factory arms/shocks. Nothing on that has changed. As for milage I have a ranch with the very same tire on a 2019 with over 6k miles on these tires and still looking good. Granted we are not asphalt drivers arouns here in the rockies. Rough and tough mountins, rocks, cactus and lots of oak brush too. 👍. If you do a tone of asphalt driving run a 15" wheel and a 28" car tire, then you will see north of 10k on a set of tires.
@@HesterEdition I see there are 28x10x12 & 28x9x12 in the ITP Blackwater. Would there be any benefit to either with potentially less chance of tire rub in off camber hard turn situations? Again this will be with a new 21 pro mx I am picking up next week. My goal is best clearance/traction without modification other than tire.
