Nice video bro! I have the exact same bike 2021 ZX6R Thanks for this video I was wondering what the M4 sounded like and looked like on this bike. Is it legal to ride without the baffle? Because it sounds great?
Thanks bro! That's awesome!! M4 sounds the best (in my opinion). Plus it has nice pops and crackles. And I'm not sure, you'd have to check in your state. I don't think here in commiefornia it's legal but idgaf.
@@poseidons_636 I will! I've got a 2020 Z900, so I respect the throttle, I only had dirt bikes and was a better start for me than clip on bars. THANKS! BE SAFE AS WELL!
I got zx6r 2023 I was thinking will that slip on fit mine I am new in to the motorcycle community so don't roast me hahahah 🤣 I love the way it's sounds
That's the one I need. Sounds so good. That sound/style with the KRT colors will look amazing. Have you noticed any performance changes? A little quicker or slower? High end low end?
I agree, M4 GP sounds the best imo. Slip on felt like it added some slight power according to the ass dyno... , I definitely felt the 15 ish pound difference for sure after I installed it, felt way lighter. Working on shedding another 10-15 pounds off my body so it can be that much faster lol. Currently sitting around 175 ish 5'9. I bought a flashed ECU off my buddy. So now all I need to do is dyno tune and I should be set. I'll do a video on all that once I get it done
@@86250r yeah I'm still confused about the whole situation with the pcv. A lot of knowledgeable people are saying I need it and then I'm hearing I don't need it.
The pipe itself didn’t change anything i have a 19 with the gp19 and no you don’t need a pcv just send the ecu off for a flash it’s gonna be a night and day difference the throttle will be very smooth too i love it flashed
Hey man great vid, i know with this exhaust you take out the resigninator. Did you have to flash the ecu because of the less airflow restriction or is that only if you get rid of the cat?
Thanks bro, and idk I personally like the tone 600s have compared to 1000's. I think the GP19 M4 sounds the best on the zx6r, I had it on my previous zx6r's as well.
@@poseidons_636 I’m shopping for either a 2022 636 or zx10r…. But if the zx10 doesn’t have as high pitch and nice sound as 636, that’s a pretty big deal breaker for me. Thoughts?
@@playur2547 I would just watch some videos on zx10r's with different exhausts and compare that to other videos of 636's with different exhausts. Zx10r's still sound nice af with an aftermarket exhaust. But for me, it's just something about the 636 with the GP19 M4 slip on. It's music to my ears, plus it has some nice backfires when downshifting, sounds so good.
@@poseidons_636 I’m pretty sure the ergos on zx10 are more comfortable than the 636? I’ve ridden 600s and liter bikes and every time the liter bikes are more comfortable. Idk if it’s the same for zx10 & 636 though
"Tech spec snakeskin tank pads" from revzilla, comes with the 5 pieces you see on my bike Fuck yeah! Ninja gang! She sounds awesome doesn't huh? Video doesn't do it justice.
I’m torn between this one or the carbon fiber slip on! Also on a different note how is that LS2 helmet?? I’ve been debating ordering a ls2 assault one off Amazon!
It comes down to personal preference. The carbon fiber slip on you are talking about is the "street slayer" I'm assuming? I don't think it sounds as good as the GP19, but this is just my opinion. And I love my LS2 helmet. It's the first LS2 model I've had, so I can't speak about the other models. The link for my helmet is in the description of my video "2021 Kawasaki ZX-6R Walkaround + Some Highway Fun!"
2 totally different bikes built different different power delivery the Duke is a sport touring bike the zx6r and others are super sport pretty much race bikes
Here’s the things about rider aids, you don’t want to be used to hammering that front brake and letting abs do the work to keep the tire from locking,if you jump on a buddies bike and he doesn’t have that your gonna pull hard on the brake guess what’s gonna happen 😆 plus why have the rider aids it takes away from learning to ride correctly for beginners that’s one thing but you don’t want rider aids once your used to riding I don’t have abs and I turn tc off every time I ride it makes the bike bog from a stop if you hammer on it and wheelies are hard to do
@@twizted6367 My ninja 400 had ABS and when I was starting out it definitely saved my butt a few times when I got pulled out in front of so I would definitely recommend it for a beginner, but I totally agree about not having it on a second or third bike. Traction control on the other hand is something I almost* always use on the streets where I live since the road surface is so unreliable and I'm not interested in doing wheelies out on the street. *it's on the lowest setting so it barely interferes, but I have noticed it kick in a couple of times when pulling away from a dusty U-turn or when the front tire lifts under hard acceleration. I've turned it off a few times to feel the difference and the bike definitely feels a bit more excited in first gear, easily breaks the rear tire loose on my local roads which is fun, but when I'm on the street I prefer to keep the sunny side up LOL
Keep checkin out Dave Moss tuning vids on RU-vid learn what does what then get that sag set right then go out and ride and adjust till you like it trust me go ahead and set everything 2 more turns towards soft to start. Dealers don’t know how to set up suspension they only know factory settings all bikes from factory are setup for 250lb riders
@@twizted6367 lol……I am still in the hospital. Driver turned into my lane on the highway at 80mph and took me out. Tech 5 air bag and jacket saved my life along with my helmet
@@reiss636 yeah so the cats are actually in the headers. This honeycomb pattern in the headers that has to get drilled out and then you can do a full system from the headers back but you need a tune with it as well. I eventually want to do that but it's like $3,000 for all that.
That’s not the cat thats a secondary muffler the cat is made in the header you gotta use a screwdriver and carefully bend up the cones edges theres 2 disks inside pull right out you’ll need a hammer too to tap on the screw driver just be careful
