We had a couple Land Rovers, Range Rovers and Defenders we had in our 'city fleet' when I did private security and they were very nice but we didn't get them this nicely appointed. They are expensive as hell. Our CEO had one that was appointed with all of this stuff but his cost over 260k. He had it armored of course, but had a custom gun rack installed, portable stove and a bunch of stuff for camping. He really took his Range Rover and Land Rover camping all the time. They slept in AC cooled tents of course
@Frank Castle Charity organizations were a small part of the business. You aren't making money, or very much with charity organizations. We did Doctors without Borders, DocRaft, VillageMed...those places. But those doctors need security, transportation, logistics and need to know who to contact in the government. Work permits. It's a lot. But because they are a charity, they want everything to be donated or reduced in price. Their doctors are still getting paid. They are paying a house lady to wash clothes and cook. Their tents aren't the kind you find at Wal-Mart. When we rolled in with Toyota 4Runners and Land Cruisers, they wanted the Lexus versions of those vehicles. Or Land Rovers and Discovery's. But most of the money was in bodyguard work for people working and traveling overseas or people needing temporary security. We had a group of guys that boarded ships and yachts that transitioned the Gulf of Aden headed towards the Suez Canal. Another team worked Afghanistan. Guarding supply trucks, computer equipment and infrastructure emplacements, delivering techs and contractors to those spots. Doing government surveillance work on the border of Pakistan and Afghanistan. Not just the US government uses private security and contractors. United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, France and Japan used us a lot to protect their fishing boats. And we were a small company. Some of these companies are huge. They have their own tanks, helicopters, ships, and employ other agencies to supplement their contracts. Private security is a vast world and very complex. But charity work didn't take up much of our business. I worked it the last 7 years I worked for them and their were only 7 of us and 3 or 4 vehicles. We stayed employed year round with work and 2-3 months off throughout the year, but there are always more jobs than qualified people to work them.
Imagine this: A Land Rover RR with all the electronics, power train and suspension of a Land Cruiser. Imagine this: A TOYOTA LANDCRUISER with a body and exterior of a LANDROVER RR. Pure Sweeeeet!!!!!
I like cars that connect you to the road and environment; not remove you from it. That’s why I drive a broken car. You can to feel all the bumps and wind noise as you drive. lol 😂 😂😂
Great review. I've been driving a Range Rover Evoque for five years now. It still has only 40 000 km and looks as good as new but maybe it's time for an upgrade😋.

I drive a Kia I have had several Suv’ s and cross over and cars .. I’m just trying to upgrade to something bigger with more space. Listen here the day I get a Range Rover I will have a better credit score , finances secure and pulling up in my drive way you here me.

Yep why was the purchase one that is the one I want it lists for $224,000 rear seats with adjustable foot rest wonder what colors you can get it in but I love the interior I think it's awesome
@@VWkid4life yeah tesla too…. These cars are very luxurious but once they break down they are pure garbage. Just better to avoid these cars….. ugly af from the outside as well… and they break down relatively soon compared to other cars
Its very nice in a 2013 sort of way But its not nice the way the new GLS, X7, Escalade, Navigator and Grand Wagoneer are nice Those are on completely different levels
Yes it is Unless you got pockets deeper than the Mariana Trench, you ain’t buying this. On top of that it’s about as reliable as customer service when they put you on hold for the next 9 years
220k seems a bargain when you compare it to the Cullinan which is 500k for similar specc! So, for those who can afford it, it’s a no brainer Unless if you are desperate for a more “exclusive” badge! Then well done to you Sir...
I don’t understand why Range Rover doesn’t give this same interior option for the small wheelbase (minus the backsit center consol!) I like the fully brown leather throughout and all the other details! It’s a shame it only comes with extended wheel base! This is what separates Bentley from the rest! Some of us want to have this luxurious option and details but not the long wheel base! This for me is the con of Range Rover. They limit themselves with certain details only for long wheelbase I hope this changes on the 5th Gen Range Rover qnd we. Atleast get the option for an interior like this on the SWB!
