I just picked up a 10k mile slightly used AWD and i don't feel as much as a lack of torque down-low thankfully! I just use the break hold and accelerate off the break hold and I get good traction and minimal wheel spin bc the AWD (especially in sport s+) and i have solid torque down-low when i do this. Obviously a big difference when cruising and ur sitting at 1000-1500 but hey im not complaining! good enough power for me around my city/town where I can only get to ab 50 legally anyway
The Dynamic Handling Package adds 19inch 7 spoke aluminum Enkei wheels and a carbon fiber wing with Adaptive Variable Suspension! I drove one of those base models and the suspension really does make a big difference!
@@christianherrero8053 DHP makes it way better. Sport S+ mode is also a game changer as well takes it even a stew further helps with torque in the lower rpms and the handling (awd for me) is amazing
@@RichardjRU-vid wish I could drive them back to back. I have the is350 fsport without DHP but it’s still pretty fun . Holds me over until I get into my track car
Did you have to tune it after the muffler delete or just install and go? Any check engine light on/issues since install? I have the exact car in white and want some more noise from it. Lol
You wont get check engine light from it, as there is no wiring on the pipe that connects to the muffler, and you don't need a tune. Im getting this exhaust next week.
Regarding the backup camera - if you get the larger screen with Mark Levinson, etc. it looks a lot nicer. I have the RWD which has the 8-speed. It is pretty good but still not amazing... However, it is still more modern-feeling than the 6-speed auto. I just don't get where you get off saying the car feels sluggish while you're driving in Eco Mode... I _never_ use Eco Mode as it makes the car feel pretty dull. Even Normal mode is a big step up. But I always drive in Sport when I want to go fast. One other thing - I noticed you using the paddles without going into "M" mode on the shifter. This doesn't really give you manual control. It just limits the max gear. If you use "M" on the shifter you can actually control the gears. I know you don't have to do this on other cars - for example, my wife's 330i gives me manual control even if I don't first select "S" on the gear selector. However, that's just how Toyota and Lexus products work. M mode is the way to go, or just leave it in Sport automatic as it does a decent enough job.
Yes. You can get a muffler delete. But a shop has to cut it off. I dont think dealerships are able to do it? Depends on the dealer. But some have a sport exhaust. But will be muffled mainly by the muffler.
Seems like Lexus didn't change much... my issue with this car is as you stated, it feels sluggish. I have the 8 speed RWD and its not much better. Will probably trade in once market returns to normal.
Oh Snap! I just realized your in my old neighborhood! That's West Broad St in Stratford CT. I have the same car but the dynamic handling package in infra red! You from the area?
