@@cody2480I am in a stage of my life where reliability is my main priority. I'm seriously considering buying a Lexus. For once, I want to keep a car after the warranty period without worrying.
I own one and it really only looks nice and has the benefit of standing out because almost nobody has a Lexus sports car. The car is slow for the price.
I'm not usually a red car guy but I was looking for an IS 350 in micah blue but then my sales guys showed me the infra red f sport and I instantly fell in love. She's a beaut.
Please that’s one sexy car. Just got a 2019 IS 300 f sport because I don’t want to spend more on a car right now but it’s still incredible. Can’t wait to earn/save enough to get my own customized version of this in a 350 one day!
Also significantly more expensive. Having said that I think it would be worth it if you can stretch your budget. The IS 500 is the last 4 door sedan with a naturally aspirated V8, and there will never be another.
This car is starting to grow on me. Have you checked out some of the videos for this car from T-Demand? I would have them install the air suspension if I could.
@@johnnelson9742 Consider 3 series, C-Class and even A4 are competitors for this car and they're able to fit 4 adults comfortably, much better engineered and lead the class in terms of sportiness, handling, luxury and refinement. This Lexus still has the same V6 you find in older Lexus IS cars going back decades so they're not even competition for the Germans in that regard.
Dam fine car. May not beat a hellcat or whatever but itll get you from a to b and then to c to d and so on for well over 300 k miles. Id take that over questionable reliability any day. Plus a proper cai, catback and a tune and im sure itll be plenty fast enough
@@charleyqin8202 well if it's stock it's only as quick as a Camry V6(a bit slower to 60 in some tests) and slower than an Accord turbo 4 🤷 nice looking car though
@@ftr911drvr big difference is that the Lexus IS is RWD which makes a huge difference compared to a fwd Camry. I don’t think Toyota would ever make their Lexus IS lineup slower than a Camry
Looks good stanced low! I'm still very noob at tuning and all. I'm planning on buying the new 2021 IS350 F sport and wishing to make the exhaust sound bass-ier and better. What would be your recommendation?
@@SayonBiz well of you end up with the v6 aftermarket catback and simple bolt ons will wake the car up and make it louder or you could straight pipe it or do a mid muffler and resonator delete those are cheaper options
It's a tradeoff for the bulletproof engine/trans reliability. It won't suit everyone, but for people like me who no longer have time to tinker with/repair my own cars, reliability is a fair tradeoff. In any case, the speed/handling of these things are more than most people need on public roads.
Is this on an air suspension? If not, what’s your setup? I need to lower mine… I have the 22’ 350 F sport and it definitely would look dope af with a drop.
These starting to grow on me pause. I'm in the market for a new whip and I was looking at the q50s but everybody and they mom has one. Don't see much of these on the road
@@SoleDreamzAndLexoticj Air suspension is fantastic, best of both worlds. That is until you wake up one morning ready to go to work and find your car either leaning to one side or sitting on the driveway🙈 Yes, I've had that experience with a Mercedes E500 in the past, happened twice. Even though the ride height difference isn't as great and ride comfort will never match air and it's not as simple to adjust, I prefer adjustable height coilovers for myself.
