Nate, I couldn't agree more with you the evora does look more exotic than a Porsche, has a more raw, visceral feel, which is why I just put down a deposit today for the new Lotus Emira.

The Evora GT is definitely an exotic, probably not a supercar performance wise but they are light and fast (like a 4C)! I’ve driven the Evora 400 and am looking at the GT vs a C8 HTC. You made me laugh with the Porsh-uh comment! Sub’d!

Are you sure you just dont have rhe seat too far back, Nate? I'm 5'8 and sat in the back quite comfortably. 😅 If I'm honest, I acrually enjoyed it, but I ended up buying one. So, I'll aleays be driving now.

Kist as information. I have an Evora GT now. I test drove the Emira. Not for me. I wanted a driver's car. You are in Florida I believe. I am also. I did a 3rd cat delete and cold air intake from GRP. Then I had it tuned on a dyno. Now it has 504 bhp and over 400 torque. It's quite fast and sounds awesome.

Why not just tune the emira ?

@@carswithnate If I had one, I would, but still, I don't think it would be as good. One it's heavier, two its engine starts from a lower hp and three I think the Evora GT has better aero. I did see an interesting video where the added body parts to the Emira like the Evora GT already has for better aero and then tuned it to I think 460 hp. At any rate, the only reason I would get an Emira is if it came as a convertible. I wish Lotus had done that with the Evora like they did with the Elise and Exige. I may go over to the dark side one day and get a Porshe for the convertible. Not sure which one to get. I care more about having a manual trans than speed. At one point I tried to get a Saleen 1, but because of all the regs in California, they will never make a street legal one. If you don't know that car, check it out. Best!
