The clip in the corner which broke is actually a little hanger where the door card hangs. In yanking it you broke it off. You need to release all clips, then lift up on that corner section. I also would recommend using plastic removal tools as they won’t scratch up the paint where you pry against the door frame.
Thanks for the video. I appreciate the transparency about some of the little mistakes along the way. It was all very helpful in understand both what to do and what not to do. Just FYI about that clip that broke, I saw in someone else's video that you need to pull the panel straight up. (All others clips pull outward). (ru-vid.comAdqt6Bk3iTQ?feature=share) When I replaced the passenger window in my daughter's 2021 CX5 yesterday, I was able to do it without anything breaking. Thanks again for the instruction.
Are you sure because they don’t offer a lemonade door glass for CX five and only offered it for the CX nine model. I Forgot to label the vehicle video file
Thank you so much. Changed my 2022 CX-5 glass with ease. I’m also glad you dropped the screw in the door cause that happened to me and I had no idea how to get it out. Thanks.
Someone attempted to break into my CX-5 yesterday. The laminated glass prevented them from doing so (thankfully). However, it is still cracked so I’ll be doing mine ASAP!
