Toyota clients complained about the digital a/c screen being too distracting while driving and also screen feedback used to lag so Toyota changed the infotainment setup in the facelift.

Agree! Looks refreshed and modern, but something has been missed in comparison with the old models. In nineties Crown was far ahead of its rivals but now it is another technological toy, which can boast a smooth and easy driving experience.

Really good looking car. I'm confused. What is the emblem on the front grill and steering wheel? It's not Toyota or Lexus. Is it just for the Crown? We dont get this car in the UK.

This emblem is specific to Toyota Crown range. Only a few models in all of Toyota-Lexus line up have this privilege, crown being one and another iirc is the Century, Toyota domestic flagship. The Crown (non majesty) is positioned between Lexus LS and GS IMO, so you could go nicer with the LS but you lose some of crown’s niceties like swinging air vents and cloth seats.

@@ZavN11 I'd peg them as pretty equal as the Crown Majesta (Sorry had a brainfart moment not Majesty) used to be comparable to the Celsior which was a rebadged LS. Which is probably why the Majesta variant is no longer offered in the latest generation "reimagined" Crown.

Не сказал бы, что дешёвым, но не лучше именитых конкурентов. Самое лучшее оставили для маджесты и салоны у Toyota только у лексусов выглядят премиально. В остальном добротный неплохо скроеный салон, но не более. Намного лучше чем у Камри точно.

@@voxxxytoyota6848 Если вы покупаете для эмоций и погонять, то это не та машина. Если ехать как Якудза и с достоинством, в тишине и комфорте, то Краун дарит эти эмоции. Эти разные машины для разных возрастов. Средняя скорость как бы вы не гоняли и живёте в городе будет все равно не более 50 км в час, если не 35😉. У меня были марки 2 в нулевых, но сейчас бы я предпочёл Краун.

Я тоже так думал. Завладел. И полное разочарование. Места мало. Прет? Неее. это не про краун. просто едет. Шумоизоляция? Нееее. не слышали. Единственный плюс который радовал - виден капот. Из салона. Плавности хода (той которой ждешь от него) и в помине нет. В итоге на ШЕСТОЙ день выставил на продау. Продал.
