My favorite thing about your channel is that you're not afraid to really drive and push the car when you review it. As a viewer it is so entertaining and satisfying.
@@hasaniqbal233 What will get you a 300k car then? Assuming you don’t come from wealth and never win the lottery. People find a way, don’t limit yourself
Been following him since he started - it’s taken way too long for him to become this well known since his content is vastly superior to all other similar channels. When he’s the face of of automotive journalism I’ll concede that he’s received the attention he deserves until then in my mind this channel and Chris are underrated.
If there's any modern supercar that is a dream car to me, the 720 is it. I was at a stoplight in my miata n told this guy in a 720 i thought it looked sweet with the onyx black paint n did a pull for me. Thing pulled like a jet it was unreal hahaha
its my dream car too, kinda motivates me to do my best at school lol. in my country you have different "difficulty levels" at high school and the higher your level is the higher your chances are at a good job. you have like 3 classes of each of these "levels" in the same year. i'm doing VWO, which is the highest and it's pretty hard tbh, but with enough motivation it really pays off eventually. i know that i can get a supercar like the 720 if i do my best and get a great well paying job.
Every single time you accelerate, just watching it alone puts smile on my face. Can’t imagine how much fun you had with this beast of a car. Hands down one of the best reviews on this channel so far. Hope to see more supercars like this.
This is maybe the best supercar review I've seen recently: POV+biaural audio really reconstruct the experience. Plus camera usually disguise the speed, but I can feel the pace of the car/driving in my stomach behind the screen.
Glad to see reviews still popping up on this stellar supercar! with all the new ones coming out, this beast set the bar High and will always remain something special.
I've never been a car enthusiast since I've only ever driven hoopties or 4 cylinder gas savers.. but I stumbled upon your page a couple weeks ago and have been addicted to watching you drive and give your opinion on a crazy amount of cars. I am in college right now but it's safe to say once I graduate and find a better job, I am making it my mission to find a car that is fun to drive with a little bit of speed. Luckily I have your channel so I can get a good idea of what I want. Right now I am leaning towards a '22 si. Thanks man keep it going!
Wow, great stuff!! So appreciative of Mclaren for still running hydraulic steering in their cars. Very few companies have properly figured out EPS (Porsche’s one), but Mclaren knows the importance of good steering feel. Also, the performance is just insane on this thing.
this man just put 720S, civic type R, corvette, GT3 in the same sentence as a thrilling car thats very practical and easy to drive. amazing. you are a true car guy my man. too many fanboys that will only keep cars in categories that they choose. they never leave what they love nor understand or care to understand other amazing cars out there. so glad you're not one of them.
the number-by-number climbing on the speedo is actually a huge thing that i miss quite a bit - dodge does it as well and I never really thought much of it until I bought my scat pack widebody, and now that I'm out of that and back into an audi, I kind of miss it. Something super satisfying about it.
I had the pleasure of racing one of these on the street, incredible how they continue to pull even after 130. Its the only thing so far to have beaten me
Holy shit dude. I grew up around Northville and live in Ann Arbor now. I was NOT expecting to see the roads I grew up driving / still drive every day on a random video I clicked on! Small world, that's insane! I'm literally know all the places in this video like the back of my hand. good to see some michigan fam out here! Made my day!
I was lucky enough to just sit in one of these and I was fascinated. The smell, the fit, the style. I thought about it for a week straight. It's something really special. Awesome review as always..
I really like this car. I know McLaren gets a lot of flack on different levels. However, they really should get credit for their innovation. I hope one day to be able to drive one. Thank you so much for this review! Looking forward to a 765LT review. That car is insane!
"so if you're in comfort mode, just relaxing, want to commute to work [...]" My friend, whoever affords this kind of car, does not do the whole "commute to work" part. Lovely review, as always. P.S. Nice short-shifting on the track.
Had mine for 4 years (2018 model) and just got the base model with not too much added on. Only had one issue with it where the HUD kept coming up with a message telling me to take the car back to the dealers after only about 1500kms which McLaren were able to fix. Been brilliant ever since.
Yes you have to make it happen. For example im 25 and have 4000 pounds salary. Each month i spend like 2000 pounds so im left with 2000 per month. Per year its 24000 pound. And if i save up 10 years ill be 35 and have 240000 pounds. 240000 pounds is 331000 dollars.Like i said you make it happen
Like someone in the comments mentioned. Your GoPro is so satisfyingly placed that it gives the true feel for a viewer. Hell I can even see in the rear view mirror. Crazy stuff.
Luv it! I know it’s a totally different class then Nsx( price ) but what are your thoughts in terms of Nsx for its price, vs this for its price? Both daily driver friendly, both unique, …interiors room?and who has better stereo? Nsx is a big stretch for me, and this impossible…but could you contrast thoughts in various modes….thanks again.
This car is not meant to be on public road.. 2,5 secs 0-100 is just immense!! While the rest of us are just thrilling enough to be driving it on Project Cars 🤤😂
@TheTopher You're videos are great, the pov quality feels me like I been onboard of that 720s. The natural sound of acceleration with turbo spools allows me having an idea of the throttle capability.
