This is an EXCELLENT GLA 2021 wait two years after someone else spent $50,000plus and buy it used for $24,000, thats how my co worker did it! Mercedes drop heavier than a BRICK on holding its value FAST! STill a nice vehicle!
Actually the outside look is very much in line with MB overall look , especially if you compare other mb cross over. Not as Russian doll as other brands, but consistent clues that make it instantly recognizable. It’s like she wants to have an opinion and she doesn’t know which one to pick.
@Daniel Hernandez same as with the A220 vs the G70. Why on earth would one choose a FWD tiny sedan with relatively poor spec when there's a better equipped, more reliable, larger (but not over the top) RWD sedan for the same money? And maybe it's the hipster part of me as well, but I find the exclusivity of a new car brand which offers actually good products to be a much more attractive proposition vs something like a MB which are found on every single street
I've had two GLA's in a five year period. The view from the rear showed shoulders housing the rear lights. This one doesn't seem to have shoulders at all. It could be any SUV; distinctive design seems to have been put to one side, in favour of a car that looks like many others from around the world.
Yes it's I have a GLA AMG 35 not for strollers or buggies, its just practical 2 medium luggage 1 gym bag or $ 100 of groceries at Costco lol nit much 🤣🤣
Disney Fan I’d pass on this one altogether. Honda makes great cars so not sure how cheap for a $32k is no chump change when some other cars offer sub-20k e.g versa
@@disneyfan9099 I was thinking more on the line of a Kia. I really like the Telluride. At this point, I don't really buy for the car's prestige. I've own a Mercedes, a BMW, an Audi but I don't really care anymore. I just call a car service when I need luxury.
The Audi Q3 is soooooo much cheaper. An average sticker on one of these I looked at was $46-48k without leather or safety tech while the Q3 tops out around $44k with every option.

However, the majority of people who get them, lease them, their are maintenance packages available. Furthermore, everyone I know with them can easily afford to maintain them. My father in law has one, and has had no issued with his 2014 E class since he bought it new.
Option this up equal to a Mazda CX5 Signature and you will have a car with no rear armrest, no spare tire, no heads up display, no back seat release from the trunk, less steering feel, 30 less hp, 70 fewer torques all for 15 thousand dollars more but It's worth it to have that star on the nose.

I like the looks, however the dash that looks like a horizontal I-pad stuck on looks a little tacky or as if it is after market. However it has nice colors.
@@penguin_ca The interior is pretty however the dash looks like a horizontal I-PAD that was sort of pasted on----like it was done that way to save money; compare to BMW dash. I agree that the lights on the display are snazzy.
jazzbeau507 You know what, to me the screens look futuristic, very cool. After I saw this design the traditional looking cockpits all look boring. I also would disagree they do that for saving money.
You said you are looking forward to driving the more powerful engine that has 382 horsepower; that will be great seeing you go 180 mph in California urban or suburban environment. We will are excited to see that also. Most US states have 70 mph speed limit, so maybe the 382 horsepower will be popular where you live.
Then the Dodge Hellcat horsepower of 717 to 792 must really seem pointless to you. These have been tracked going in excess of 120 mph on the Interstates running through my city.
@@garyjohnson8120 Smaller engines use less gasoline, and seem to have adequate pick-up; A friend who owned a porsche sports car, prefers his other car, the slower family sedan which is more comfortable and easier to get in and out of.
Disney Fan the corolla has been rolling around with standard leds since 2014.... there was no excuse for halogens on the past generation GLA. It made the cars look cheap and diluted the brand a bit
I feel like outside the S-Class and maybe the E-Class, and some of their more expensive coupes, Mercedes doesn't look like a luxury brand anymore with its less expensive cars, especially compared to some other "mainstream" brands like Mazda, Hyundai, & Kia, which are releasing very luxurious looking new models, inside & out!

Bill Parr are you kidding right now? BMW is the best selling luxury brand, followed by Mercedes, and then Audi is 4th or 5th. They’ll have no problem at all.
