N.C. Yeah when they went to the subscription thing I always payed for it for head to head ignition and best drivers car which is still on but isn’t the same. Now it’s just a bunch of shows I don’t even watch. We need to start a petition to bring back the originals
The Mini JCW GP is an impressive package no doubt, but something must have been going on in the lap time you mentioned. Maybe it was raining for Steve Millen, or he was on a VERY off day. For reference, Randy Pobst ran a 1:27.22 in a 2015 GT3 RS.
Please give us comparing time lapse with other cars like Honda civic type R or go far just to understand is it really better than these always the same or less

What happened to this channel? Is there's no more Head2head and Ignition? The good old days with Carlos and Jason was the peak of this channel. If Randy leaves as well then this channel is no longer MotorTrend.
This might be an evidence that the track time should be taken with a grain of salt - Mini JCW GP is in the same league of Honda Civic Type R and Mustang 2.3T
The VW golf is a small car as well but it's 310 hp 2.0L turbo can be reliably tuned to 540HP . I'll take the VW . I wish you guys got the Cupra Leon in the states.
Don’t be put off with the gearbox this thing is awesome and quicker than any manual box and as for the size of the car well if the new mini was the same size as the original then bmw wouldn’t sell many due to safety etc . The Gp is the best mini ever produced.
@@ZappBranning hard to believe that, of course the shifts are faster and for shear numbers this is the best gp but I’d rather have a 1st gen gp with the supercharger for overall enjoyment. What’s more, if this new gp is about numbers bmw should have done more, not sure this bests a civic type r in any comparison. Really not sure who their target market is with this one other than die hard fans of the newest new minis
Yeah Yeah it's fast but man is it over done with the styling! ..... I would love to see this car with everything accept the rims one color.....OR if it was just Murdered Out...that would be cool!
It looks like he’s never driven an fwd before : you take the curve tighter by aiming even inside and doing so I widen the radius of my curve by crushing the throttle : simple power drifting of the front .
My 2009 Mini Cooper S is nothing but trouble. After putting a bunch of money into it I have it parked because it overheats. 300hp is 10 years too late.
