Not that there is any virtue in this, but I don't have a stash. My kit building is historically lengthy since the late 1950s in fact, but has been sporadic - boom or bust you might say. So there has been little need to buy and stash more than I can build. Last time, it was propellor powered airliners in 1/72 and piston fighter planes 1/48. Now after returning from overseas, I developed an interest in diesel electric Submarines. Mostly in 1/144 - a more kindly scale to choose to build a fairly limited availability of choice. Revell seem to have a great choice of Submarine kits. But the new kid kit on the block is what seems to me to be the kit that in my view is shaping up to be the kit of the Covid era. Breaking away from 1/144 is the Das Werk kit produced in Germany: U-BOAT, U-9.in 1/72. This kit appears so damn fine as to be the Holy Grail of Submarine kits. Already, there are stating to appear super detail kits and I'll always add those wherever possible. This detail makes the model special and that gives pleasure. I'm enjoying this video and I've subscribed to watch view more. I can understand the difficulties is kit buying not being in Europe and the US, I'm in New Zealand and also victim of the vagaries of mostly needing to buy from overseas. Keep safe and well, mate. Great video Jared. First of all Thank you for the shout out very kind of you. Porko Roso (I think the spelling is correct), great movie and there is a model of his airplane cool stuff. The Seiran is a really cool float plane and one I could not refuse buying myself. The negativity against certain kits has really gotten absurd, ignore people like that at all cost. The Phantom Is super cool. it has to be one of my favorite jets as well . Enjoy your week.

This was fun. I may do something similar, I finished a kit a couple of weeks back (by finish I mean build, paint and weather, which I haven't done in a while :) and I haven't felt the urge to start another so until then I may go thru my current stash.

Very pleasant waking up to your stash video, I must say. I watched the whole thing as I puttered around in my kitchen this morning. I even took some notes about some things I wanted to say in my comment! :) First off, I thought to myself, "I bet he's going to have that Raiden in his "to do" stash" and sure enough! It's a great kit, I seem to recall. You'll have a blast. In fact all those, little 1/72 Hasegawa Japanese fighters are quite good. I was reminded by your comments on the Nick (I think it was) that, although I'm a huge fan of Japanese modelling subjects (even Japanese armor, by the way), the N1K George and Ki-61 Tony do absolutely nothing for me! Funny is that! So weird seeing a Cartograph stamp on a Tamiya kit! Strange they don't box all their kits with them, though I really can't say I have much trouble with Tamiya decals, for the most part. You see Cartograph stamped on Academy kits, sometimes, and rightfully so. Their decals are literally unusable. Anyway, thanks for that, Jared! Looking forward to your next production.

I also bought a Tamiya 61119 a new version 1/48 Spitfire as yours on few days ago, After seeing your video, suddenly makes me want to buy a razorback P47 it really looks very nice. Watched your channel, a work with Finemolds SAVOIA on few days ago. almost drive me kick down that button of buying. When I get my life out of storage, I will have to do a stash video. I understand about missing shows. I was going to 6 or 8 car shows a year with a buddy of mine, and the National Model Railroad Association national convention was going to be close enough for me to go to. Nope, cancelled.

That magazine appendix 22 Type from FineMolds is super nice, They also provide a 1/72 ki-43 hayabusa. but I didn't get all them, so sad. p.s I buy a FineMolds 1/72 ki-61 on yesterday, it's my first 72 scale, now on shipping, hope it could bring some fun different with 48 scale.

Eduard kits for WWII planes way better than Tamiya, also Hobby Boss P-47 D best you can get.
