2021 New Braunfels HS Band - Uprooted 

The 2021 New Braunfels High School Unicorn Marching Band. The show was titled "Uprooted", which features the following musical selections:
Fetes by Debussy
Lost Vegas: III. Fever by Daugherty
Woods by Bon Iver
Shofukan by Snarky Puppy
The band was under the direction of David C. Eckert, Kyle Day, J Flores, Craig Turner, and Kate Williams.
This performance was at the UIL Class 6A Area D Marching Band Contest Finals. The band made 10th place out of 27 bands in preliminaries and also 10th place out of 10 bands in Area Finals.
The band earlier had received a unanimous Division 1 rating at the Class 6A Region 12 Marching Contest.
The band also won 3rd place in Class 6A at the Vista Ridge Marching Contest in Cedar Park, TX as well as 4th place overall in finals.
The band also excelled in the Comal Classic Marching Contest in New Braunfels, TX - they won 1st place in Class 6A, as well as winning festival Grand Champion with outstanding percussion and auxiliary.
And lastly, the band competed in the Bands of America Super Regional contest held at the Alamodome. The band placed 42nd place out of 71 bands in preliminaries.
