Can you please do a video on the remote start on this Nissan Sentra? After two remote start and my remote start doesn't work anymore. Some suggest that you use the push button start the vehicle and drive for awhile and it will work again but my hasn't, so I'm a bit confused. Ty

If your talking about factory installed system then it would have the ignition disable feature which would prevent the car from starting if the correct manufacturers key was not used to start it. Also if doors are locked and someone opens the door the horn should go off. Short of that you can look for an icon on the dash that looks like a car and a lock. It should should flash briefly when starting the car, that would indicate an anti theft system. If your talking about an aftermarket system then I would look for a red light on the dash or by the door locks that does not look original, but you’d have to track down the systems name and brand to figure out what it actually does. How can I turn off the radio but still keep CarPlay on? Mechanic messed with my audio settings and now radio plays automatically and I don’t want it to. I rideshare and need my CarPlay on.
Thanks for the question. If you go into settings, then click on “volumes and beeps” at the top , you can adjust the startup volume, turn it to zero, and now when you start the car no audio should come on until you raise the volume. Now if for some reason your phone connection was broken by the mechanic, so now it’s on Bluetooth connection and not Apple CarPlay, then here’s what to do to re-establish the carplay connection. Go into settings, click connections, and under the Bluetooth tab you should see your phone, click on the little gear wheel at the side, and then click on the Apple CarPlay icon (it will be in the same line as your phone name. Now in the case that you don’t see that, you’ll need to re-pair your phone, so be sure to “forget” the connection on your phone under Bluetooth connections, then re-pair it to re-establish an Apple CarPlay connection. It’s more that the radio “breaks through” the car play…like it’s on in the background and when I get a ding (request) for a ride the radio starts playing. How can I turn the radio “off” without turning off my audio for everything else? I need the audio sound I just don’t want the radio to play.
I get it now. Unfortunately there is not a work around that I know of. You can’t just turn the radio off and still keep the audio going. That all has to do with what source you’re on. I believe, from your description what’s happening is that when you get a ding for a ride, it is simultaneously switching your audio sources from CarPlay to radio. While I’ve never had that happen, I have experienced the CarPlay pausing for a moment when I go by certain businesses that are emitting some type of signal that causes Apple CarPlay to pause then resume. I don’t know how you are connected to CarPlay but if it is a wireless connection, I would try switching to a usb connection, or vice versa depending on how you are hooked to apple CarPlay. I’m curious about this. If you switch connection types and it works let us know. Thanks for watching!
I have a nissan sentra 2020...anytime i Customize the Home Screen, the changes revert back to factory when I turn car off....its annoying and doesnt work.

Unfortunately there is not a battery gauge. Although a warning light would come on if the battery was low on charge. Wish they would have at least included a simple battery gauge. Thanks for watching!
The navigation app is an option, not standard, so if it’s not on your car, you can simply use Apple CarPlay or Android Auto to run navigation through your phones navigation apps. Thanks for watching!
Yes there may be a few minor differences in terms of what’s on the sv as oppposed to the sr. So there may be a few things you don’t have on the sv, but it will cover what you do have. Thanks for the question.

The fuel mileage that manufacturers state are always best case scenario. They are typically recorded in the most ideal weather conditions with minimal wind and one passenger in the vehicle driving extremely cautiously. Thanks for the question. Just plug the usb in and then select usb as the input on the infotainment screen. If you do that and nothing shows up, then you would need to reformat your usb. I would suggest reformatting as fat 32 and see if that works. Thanks for watching!
