I have a GTI by PS.. and... I disagree. The only improvement it's a digital odometer. The rest? Just a bunch of plastics(and tons of terrible piano black plastics). And lets just not point out the lack of power this thing have.

@@j_laskada Do you Wanna tell me that the GPS navi system of your car Is Better than this ? I've driven both , and the interiors of the new One are sooo much Better in terms of design and the quality of the infotaiment , which is a huge step. But yeah , the lack of a new GTI engine Is a mortal sin ( i own a 300hp RCZ R )

@@solarflare2199 you have apple car play in most of the GTI phase 2. So you don’t need anything else. Why would you want a stupid gps which is going to be way worse than waze ?

GT line ist genauso wie S line bei Audi hat nichts mit den Fahrleistungen zu tun. Das Sport Modell würde GTI heißen.

Nur schade, dass es schon der größte Motor im 208 ist. 200PS würden dem doch gut stehen...

@@anxietydisorders5917 il rapporto peso/potenza ha una logica sull'accelerazione. La velocità piuttosto sull'aerodinamica. E comunque una 208 è più piccola di una golf ha meno superficie di impatto.

If you live in the US and want to buy a new Peugeot just go to Mexico and buy one. I have a Peugeot 308 here in Italy, great car! In North America Peugeot has official dealers in Mexico, so not too far from where you live.

I own the 100hp gt line. And once you are behind the wheel i'ts really quiet, and perfectly insulated. Engine noise comes through the speakers ( only in sport mode, and only in gt-line.)

This 1.2 THP engine is really great to tune. Except for diesel, electric or the non-turbo petrol, they all have the same engine. Get the ECU "unlocked" for ~150 hp, no matter if you have the 100 hp model, or 130 hp.

@@g_webb21 Yeah. The thing to watch for though is which ECU is used. It seems the latest cars (around 01-2021 and later) have the Bosch MG1CS032 and the older ones (2019-2021) have either the Valeo VD46.1 or Valeo VD56.1 At this point, both Valeo's can be tuned easily, but the Bosch can't. I actually bought a new 208 a little after my comment and unfortunately mine has the Bosch ECU and I've yet to find a tuner who can successfully do the job. So far we've been able to write custom data to the ECU without problem, but when it's reinstalled and the car runs, it just behaves like stock. There's some sort of security built in the ECU which doesn't allow numbers outside of certain parameters. So in short, both 1.2 PureTech 100 and 1.2 PureTech 130 can be tuned to ~150hp. At this point in time chip tuning is only available for cars with the Valeo VD46.1 or Valeo VD56.1 ECU's.

@@Mr11ESSE111 No the Astra has a Engine from GM. It’s not the Same Engine. PSA isn‘t allowed to put their engines in the GM Opels.

@@Mr11ESSE111 Opel developed the Engine so it‘s no surprise that it‘s efficient. Opel also developed the new 1.6 turbo Engine for the PSA company which will be used for the new DS4 308 and the Astra.

Da CX 0.29 tuttavia rimango perplesso anche io un pochino. Ha toccato i 201 che è pochino per 130cv. PS non posso mettere bocca sulla 208 ma ho una corsa F che dovrebbe essere la stessa auto. Il mio tachimetro è molto preciso. A 152kmh di tachimetro che è la velocità massima il GPS segna 150

Dovrebbe fare i 208 effettivi ma per me non li fa ...già a 201 di tachimetro fa fatica ad andare su quindi

@@TESTDRIVEFREAK Maybe. I used to have one with the 1.6 turbo and it also felt sluggish at high speeds. Bad aerodynamics i guess. Now i have a sedan with the same power output and it is wayyyy faster after 150kmh or so.

Read the engine size again. Maybe compare it with a 1.2 from 10 yrs ago?

Compare pas une GT avec des GTI. GT correspond a la finition mais ce n'est en aucun cas une sportive.

This car has much effort to reach more than 205 kmh, it neeed long distance, most of peugeot and citroen engine on official paper has higher topspeed than on speedometer. We did test many peugeot and citroen and didnt got higher topspeed than official numbers
