Vehicle looks almost as great as Rebecca. She uses words like clamshell and wobbly that reviewers here in the states don't. Still, always nice to see and hear her reviews.🥳🤗👍
Using an I4 turbo engine w/small electric motor for a 2.5ton car, they really pushing it, they probably knew, that's why the 2022 PHEV gonna be I6 with 38.2kWh battery, better power better range. I wish CarsGuru can test drive the new PHEV and compare with this one side by side, cabin noise, pick up speed, ride quality, etc...
It's big and garish , costs an absolute fortune and of course Mothers will buy them to show off their kids at school drop off points. But sensible people will stay shy of such a monster, because after all who needs all this size on basic roads like here in the UK?
We had a good look at the Range Rover when our X5 was at the end of lease early last year...we was told by our leasing company that the new 2022 was due in 2021 (Oct 26th) and that would put us in by then an 18month old outgoing model...and it would depreciate highly due to the new models release....we opted for the Mercedes G400D AMG and a design that has barely changed in 40yrs and a low depreciation that LR could only wish for....11k faultless/comfortable miles already on the clock and I still could get back what I paid for it.
But it’s so ugly, and unstylish..also yawn German, if your leasing the Car, there are some truly great deals and what does depreciation matter to you, it’s the monthly payment..
Great car... clearly Rebecca wouldn't mind to be taken on the date in one. Excellent review as usual...all I say if Rebecca wouldn't be car journalist she would make great English teacher as her pronunciation is brilliant...I know that as English is my second language 😜... I think every grown man past 40 would love to have a Range Rover...
Looks big on you the RangeRover whilst driving it Rebecca , even the steering wheel looks huge..... think you're more suited to a 2+2, something nicely tailored inside with sharp body lines. Maybe a Porsche, this full fat rangie just huge
A little strange to review this when the next generation was just premiered this same week... nice car nevertheless. Eek... @5:38 where you say you don't feel the engine kicking in vs @6:15 where you say it's relatively noticeable...
Very nice to drive,, massive box on wheels, I have driven a friends one.. likes to cruise… but can get on when needed.. I have driven one, BUT, Wait until it goes bang. My friends has had the engine go pop…less than 40k miles on the clock and engine fragments went everywhere.. Land-rover left scratching head trying to work out what went wrong. Next may be the Bentley…
Hey Rebecca great review as always but its a stretch to call this Range Rover P400e "handsome" more distinctive than Mercedes GLS and less gawky than the BMWX7 come on, yeah it a high quality fantastic SUV but both the BMW and Mercedes are much easier on the eyes, haha, thank you for always doing a fabulous review, stay safe till next time
Don't like the dual screen, and don't like the split tailgate - both are pin in the a**. ...and the steering wheel is enormous, especially in fron of tiny little Rebecca.
It's an amazing SUV... I believe that the hybrid system should be like in 2013, no plug in needed, the engine does recharge the batteries automatically... this is the real genius hybrid system..
Anyone mad enough to buy a self charging hybrid is going to face serious depreciation between now and 2030. Remember that people who believe in self charging hybrids either believe in perpetual motion, tooth fairies or both!
@@wilkoone9155 The rules of 2030 are not carved in stone, they are written by a human and will be modified by a human too. Until then, enjoy your time..
All this hype of ev's why are these vehicles still been made if emissions are so bad answer emissions is just hype hence why rich folks can still buy these sorts of cars hybrid RR what a load of crap it still uses vast resources to make n run yet poor old bib the builder gets hammered for owning a bloody ice fiesta, nice car all the same
