How are the representatives for the Russian Olympic team chosen? I know in the US we have Final X and the winner of the best 2 out of 3 in each weight category is chosen for the team, but I’m wondering if it’s different in Russia or somewhat similar
One match to determine Olympic representative I’m a fan of Sidakov. He did not seem as sharp as his usual self. If he returns to form, he can defeat the best worldwide. Some opponents are hard to score against. Here it looked like both wrestlers have good defense, and not much offense-this match. Hard fought match. Thanks for posting this match
@@davidhughes4785 yes Sidakov was coming off a loss to his teammate Tsabolov a few months at the Nationals and just prior to that, his wife was caught cheating with someone... great resolve from Sidakov to pull it all together.
